Hi lovely peoples!
Here's another boy's name we're sort of considering! Have three weeks to go and still don't have a boy's name picked out (still hoping like anything bub will be a girl - simply because of the ease of naming!) So, what do you think? Origin is Old English apparently, meaning 'Village in the Valley' so one website told me.... Many thanks in advance :-) |

I quite like it but I think you would have people hearing/spelling 'Denim'
There was a Benham at my high school, known as Ben. |

From Reynholm Industries?
(Sorry couldn't resist.) I will pass on making a judgement because I don't think I can separate the name from the TV character. |

I like it but again i'm biased-my DD 9months has 'Denim' as one of her middle names. But i like Denham for a boy and i think you will hear the difference in the pronounciation and as much as i'm not overly fussed on names being shortened i dont mind Denny as a nn.Good luck OP

QUOTE (Puggle @ 23/02/2012, 09:37 PM) 14339906[/url]'] I quite like it but I think you would have people hearing/spelling 'Denim' I tend to agree with this, but if that's not a concern... I think surprisingly I like it. |

I used to live near Denham and it's quite a nice little town. Correct pronunciation is Den-uhm, so it would sound a lot like denim. You would probably get a lot of people saying Den-ham, which would be weird. I quite like it though!

I had to chuckle at this, as it was my first thought too I couldn't personally use it for that reason alone, but it's also NMS. Ad there's the denim thing too. |
