Hi
Just wondering if anyone does party plan without doing parties?Does it still work if its just word of mouth? Can you use a fb page to sell? If so how do you sell your products and what party plan are you doing?

Creative Memories (scrap booking) let you sell without pushing parties, they give you tools to have a web page within theirs so you can direct customers and they can buy direct from your page.

swimming in a sea of chocolate! :)
The company I work for, Chocoholics Anonymous, prefer that you do parties. It really isn't viable to just do direct selling. We are not allowed to sell online at all. The company is in the process of setting up online shopping and the Reps with get a commission from sales if customers use the Reps code.

With our product most people do want to try before they buy as most people have standards with chocolate and want to make sure it meets those before they buy. Which is fair enough.

Nutrimetics doesn't push to have parties, when signing up you have 3 options you can sign up for your own benifit to receive discount, you can sell to family and friends or you can do parties.

Doing parties of course enables you to possibly earn more however if you can get the word of mouth out there and do catalogue sales it is perfectly fine. We have the otpion to have our own website (first 3 months free, then a monthly cost) to allow customers to order from 24hours a day and get delivery straight to their door.

I initially signed up for my own use but have decided to get out there and try and build up my business with getting parties.

I also currently do tupperware but find this extremely difficult as I just don't get party bookings.

I am not 100% sure on the exact rules in regards to facebook, but i think i have seen posts that if your page is set to private than i think it is ok.

(updated) I just found a Q&A document with different guidlines for facebook but didn't have a good read. From what I have seen you can have you won facebook page but there are guideline to follow, for instance can't have Nutrimetics at the beginning of the title.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me, happy to help if I can original.gif

Hi - I work for a food based party plan company - Our main way to get sales is through demos however because it is food based we have the option to sell direct to food companies - we are allowed facebook pages and each consultant has their own specials etc and we also have fundraisers as another avenue to sell if you dont like doing demos.

If it was because you dont want to be pushed - their are also no sales targets or minimum parties or anything to do with the company I am with - I love it original.gif

Hi biggrin.gif

The company I work for is called It Works. It sells health and well being products.

I have only had one party as I'm not a party type selling person and that was my Launch Party biggrin.gif We are allowed to advertise on our own FB business page which I do and the rest I do through word of mouth. But the product sells itself so it's not that hard

I love it.. as the products really worked for me, which is why I joined with them biggrin.gif

Edited because I didn't read the forum guidelines properly happy.gif sorry

I haven't worked for this company but have seen and bought their products:

http://store.phoenix-trading.com.au/web/co...f21964cbb395b6b

My understanding is that it's based on direct selling rather than party plan. I have seen sellers at tables at markets and fetes. The greeting cards and wrapping paper are lovely and affordable.
