I have been referred by my midwife to the hospital physio department (have not had the baby yet, just some "leaking" issues, and I am a public patient). I was just wondering if this is covered by Medicare or if there is a cost? (I've tried calling the physio dept a few times, but keep getting their voicemail).
Obviously I'll go either way, I was just curious. |

I would be very surprised if you were charged for that service, I don't know for sure but I would expect not to be charged.

It's free. I go for exercise classes there and the physio keeps mentioning their 'free' services as long as you have a referral. They're excellent there too!

I can also recommend the exercise classes there- they are brilliant after you've given birth and focus on pelvic floor and core so will help with leakage as well as getting back in shape and your baby can come with you and have a great time!
