Truly nothing to worry about...the range for normal is huge.
DS1 crawled at 10 months, walked at 15 months. DS2 crawled at 6 months, walking/running at 9 months! |

DD crawled at 11 months and is almost walking independently at 13 months.
All within the range of normal so don't worry

I'm another who says not to worry. Consider it a good thing as it means you don't need to chase her around just yet!
A baby in DS's music class only started crawling at 12-months. She's perfectly healthy, just very laid back and happy to do things at her own pace. |

Sounds completely normal to me.
DD started commando crawling at 9 months and has only started cross patterned crawling 2 weeks ago at 11 months. Some days I wish she didn't move at all, she would certainly get into less mischief! |

DS did not crawl until 2 weeks before his 1st birthday. He is now 15 months and walking everywhere. Try not to stress, it will happen!

DS only started commando crawling on his belly at 9 months and by 10 months was doing the hands and knees crawing. 7.5 months is on the early side IMO.

Most babies I know didn't crawl til 8-10 months. I wouldn't worry about it!

Yep it's far too early for worrying. 2 of mine were not even sitting independently at 7 months. And there are experts who say that crawling is not important mile stone.
DD1 crawled at 9 months DD2 13 months DD3 12 months All kids are different so don't compare her to your other kids. Thank god none of mine were crawling at 6 months! lol It seems so early. |

I agree with the PP, there's a huge range of normal. My DS2 crawled around 7 months and everyone remarked how early it was and 7.5 is not that much more.
I do find it surprising that there's a pinned sticky in this forum with a poll on when baby first crawled and the biggest percentage is 6 to 7 months (26%). |

Neither of my boys have crawled at all.
DS1 sort of commando crawled backwards but that was it, then he bottom shuffled from 9 months. DS2 hated being on his tummy and has only just mastered the art of rolling over at 11 months (and only ever in bed). He bottom shuffled (a different style to DS1) from 8 months. |
