As the title suggests, I'm curious as to whether anyone has had experiences with shadow people. I personally haven't, but find the topic interesting (and creepy)

I have only had one experience that I can't explain.
I was 20yrs old and my then fiance and I were walking back to his house from his friends place not too far away. It was around 10pm at night. Anyway, we were approaching a one sided bus shelter and could see that there was no-one in or around it (was well lit around it and park next to it). As we got to a few meters past the area we both felt funny and turned around. Standing in the middle of the road was a silhouette of a man smoking (but no red tip for the cigarette). It was light enough that we should have been able to make out features, but it looked to be made up of solid shadow. All over, could not even distinguish clothing. We turned to look at each other kinda freaked and when we turned back to look he/it was gone.
It never happened before and it has not happened since. I have no explanation for what we saw. But I don't mind admitting that we bolted home!

I have had a ghost experience at work on night shift but it didn't involve seeing a shadow. My mum however tells me of once when she was at work (in a nursing home) seeing an elderly lady in a night dress go through a door that leads to the stairs that lead only to the staff room and staff toilet. She thought nothing of it other than to redirect her, thinking it was one of the residents with dementia, so she followed her down the stairs and into the staff toilet. When she got into the toilets there was no one there. She said it looked like a full figured lady, ie not see-through or like a shadow or anything, just like a normal person. She said she didn't feel frightened or spooked but she has no doubt of what she saw.

I work nights in a mental health ward that used to be the hospital morgue. Double whammy there. Honestly most nights I will see something, a movement out of the corner of my eye, a light move across a wall. I have heard sighs, bangs, whispers and a colleague and I both heard a chair slide across a lino floor when there was no-one there. I've had posters fall from the wall, sail through the air and crash into my legs, balloons pop as I walk past them at ungodly hours of the morning. I never see such things at home, and I'm equally sleep deprived there too. Basically I am quite convinced this place is haunted. I have worked here now for 10 years and don't feel threatened, just a bit creeped out some nights when it is particularly bad. I had brought my digital camera into work recently to show off some photos. In the middle of the night I thought, "Maybe I should take some photos of the ward and see what appears?" I'll admit I was too frightened to do that.

I had an experience with a shadow person , I was laying in bed one morning with my 3 week old baby next to me in his cradle, I was just laying there staring at nothing when all of a sudden where I was starring appeared a 4ft tall silluette shadow with a cape , no face and red eyes it was looking at my baby I was so scared I couldn't move , but then this shadow thing glided I couldn't see any feet it was mumbling in some weird language and passed my baby's cradle and then dissapeared though my bedroom wall. Four and a bit yrs later I'm still so friggin confused !!! What the hell was it doing near my baby and I think it only appeared because it thought I was starring at it but I had know idea that thing was there.
