Agh I should be doing assignments. I know this is the wrong section to vent about this .... but god do I hate group assignments, especially when you are a mature aged student so therefore the only one in the group that puts your marks above heading to the tav.

Anyway back on track: Wow Shellby congrats on the weight loss.

IzzyBee - How cute is your daughter!

Good luck to the ladies doing injections. So when is the TWW for you both? How often at the moment do you have to visit the clinics, get BT's etc

Appointment is next Thursday Raffi - it's gone so quickly. I feel nervous and excited about it.

Ahhh Studymuffin - I hear you loud and clear about assignments!! I have one due in 2 weeks and one in 3 weeks and then have IVF EPU and transfer thrown in the middle and I am stressing out a little that I won't get it all done or feel like doing it!! Yes group assignments are the worst!! It must be super hard to organise people when they just want to go to the tav! I hope they co-operate for you soon!

Next week for your appointment - that is great news!!It's good to get the first appointment done!!
The tww wait for me will be sometime after next week I think...I am expecting egg pickup (EPU) to be sometime early next week and then it is a transfer 5 days later all going well - and then the TWW begins!!

Hi girls,

Beautiful D - Thank you so much for sharing - you make me feel semi normal! Lol!

Raffi - so excited for you! You're so brave doing the needles yourself. I couldn't even look when DH did mine! Good luck with egg pickup next week - I can't wait to hear the news! It all goes so fast with IVF, which is a good thing!

Little miracles - so pleased for you that your 12 week went great!! I'm 12 weeks on Friday, so only about 2 weeks behind you! original.gif

Izy Bee - Good luck with your IVF, injections ... also very brave! Keep us posted!

Shelby - great news about your weight loss - good for you. Sorry to hear about blood sugar, hopefully all gets sorted for you quickly! I know what you mean about feeling bad for your kids when a pregnancy doesn't turn out - stupidly we told our DD as soon as we found out, then she was so confused when we lost it. So this time we've waited. It's heartbreaking more because you feel so much for them.

Study Muffin - good luck with your appointment - let us know how it all goes!

Kezball - nice to hear from you. Sorry about your SIL drama ... it's so tough hearing stories like that isn't it?! Wishing you much luck - if you decide you do want to go through the baby stage again. Take care.

Kezball - good to hear from you! Aw hun it is not fair at all and can understand totally you feeling that way - have been there myself. Even if your right tube is blocked then you still have a chance with your left one - fingers crossed for you that it happens soon. Are you going to get further investigations done if you think your right tube is blocked? Hang in there *hugs*

Raffi my left tube is definitely blocked (probably since my ectopic pregnancy 7 years ago), and the drs couldn't give me an answer about the right tube either because when I had my HSG last year no fluid would go in the right tube at all (the fluid kept going up the left tube and stopping where the blockage is...it was super painful!). So I might now be compeltely blocked altogether. If I want to know for sure, specialist said I can have a laporoscopy. Realistically speaking though, yes a lap might give me answers, but what's the point if we find both tubes are blocked, then I had surgery all in vain, I don't think they can be fixed. Spec has said to me IVF is a viable option, but as I already have 2 children, I think it's a lot to go through, emotionally, phyiscally and financially. I've been through enough as it is. If I had one or zero children I'd be far more determined about it all and probably have gone and done IVF by now. My 2 girls are true miracles, and I am grateful for having them. So basically if it isn't going to happen naturally, then we will be a family of 4, and I'm ok with that now (I wasn't ok with that for quite some time).
Thanks for the lovely messages everyone!! Means a lot original.gif

Ah yes sorry I do remember now you having your HSG test done...yes a lap is a lot to go through - I actually found it more painful and harder to recover from than my C-section! So I can totally understand what you are saying and about IVF...it certainly is a journey both emotionally and financially. As you say you do have two beautiful children (who are just gorgeous btw!) but it still must be so hard for you. Why can't our bodies just co-operate for us! I wish you all the best in whatever happens and of course you are always welcome in here anytime! I hope that another miracle happens for you soon xxx

Congratulations Izy Bee - that's amazing! I didn't know there was such a thing as numbness after c-section?? Hope the rest of your needles go just as smoothly!

lol yep know what you mean!! I am bruising a fair bit though! Yay for you doing your first injection though!! We can be injecting buddies lol!!

I found my thigh hurt more than the tummy - although i am running out of spots on my right side!! Not a lefty so will just have to keep moving around the right!!

Are you taking the Synarel spray too?

Ok HaleyW - question for you!! Did you feel bloated and a bit erm, grumpy on the injections? Also, how long after your trigger did you go in for your egg pickup? Sorry for all the questions!!

Well my DH has been a real PIA this week with more sooo not understanding!! But lucky for him he apologised this morning for acting like a jerk and I have forgiven him! Grrr men sometimes!!!
