MIL gave me some bio oil to use but I am not very good at remembering to use it.

Currently I feel like I am going to explode & that I just don't have any more room in me for the baby. The joys of being short!

I know the feeling! I'm 150cm so I know all about the joys of being short as well haha.

Bub also likes laying right on top of my bladder and enjoys kicking it in the morning to wake me up.
I don't know how I'm going to carry him for another 17 weeks when it feels like there's no more room for him to grow :/

I'm using "Happy Event" for my tummy and breasts - but I haven't been able to find it for ages.. I bought it three years ago when I had a boob job and I got absolutely no stretch marks. I'm also using the Tummy Butter (cocoa butter). Making sure I do it every night and every morning to keep it nice and soft.

Bladder - still toilet breaks 5 times a night and baby is definitely a footy player or a dancer (depending on the gender - team green for us) and spending most of his/her foot time on my bladder..

Hi all,

Read something about a FB page? Can anyone fill me in on the details as I would like to join ... I am due 10 June. Wondering if anyone has already waitlisted for child care? I need to find somewhere in the Eastern Suburbs (Sydney) for Jan 2013.
Thanks.... unsure.gif

I did a super search in www.careforkids.com.au/ and sent an email to the local centres. They recommend you sign up as soon as the baby is born (I'm in Sydney, northern beaches).

I second signing up as soon as bub is born, we don't use daycare but the kids do go to 3/4 year old kindy before Prep, and the wait list is ridiculous. I have signed the last two kids up the week they were born and they were already halfway down the page with names. I know that it guarantees me a spot signing them up early as they ring each name in the order they are written, and there's only 45 places for the kindy for each year.

Hi all

Been a little slack in posting lately, but have been trying to keep up.

Hope everyone is doing great. I am really enjoying second trimester (currently 23 weeks), loving all the big kicks we are getting now, bubs even says hello to DH if he/she's in the mood biggrin.gif

For stretch marks I have been using the palmers stuff (I keep getting free samples, so why not!) and also rose hip oil...not sure they actually do anything, but yes, feels nice to massage anyway! I have been noticing stretch marks on my hips, legs and boobs...thought I might be able to avoid them so far as I've only put on a few kilos, but I guess in the end as someone else said you either get them or you don't...god help me when I start to get really big!

Gab and littlesmooch I am short too (156cm) and also feeling like I have zero room - if I eat a big meal I feel like I might burst open lol

Childcare I am planning on going and seeing some places soon...I'm finding it really hard to know what we are going to want to do work wise, I keep telling myself I will want to go back to work part time after 12 months, but it might all change once bub arrives. We will likely put them into childcare a couple of days a week even if one of us isn't working just to socialise etc, but I'm not sure what age is best to do this...has anyone done research or had experience with what age works best???

So much learning to do, feel so clueless and naive a lot of the time!!

Alvarywinters I have tried over and over to PM you re: FB group and it is not working, keep getting some silly error grrrr...not sure what you need to join me to the group but my page is below - could you please sign me up? Thanks!

If you click on My Controls in the left hand frame, then go down to Board Settings under Options (bottom of second frame) and again at the bottom on the right hand frame look for:
Type of text editor to use when posting and set it to Standard Editor.

I had this problem a few weeks back. Type a whole PM and then get an error saying to enter at least 3 characters.

Taken from the FAQ...had the problem myself (if this is the error you are getting) a while back and this fixed it original.gif
