Have any of you gone back to paid work?

Yep I've been back almost a year now, with DD in daycare since around 8mths old. It's been fine, I really love our childcare and trust them completely with my daughter. It's also great for me to get out of the house and have some child-free time. Plus financially we just couldn't afford for me to be on unpaid leave, so once my paid leave ran out I had to go back.

Welcome Mrs Ginger Ninja! Hope your stay here is short and sweet original.gif

Fingers crossed for you Hen...hope it's your month!

Wow congrats Chev!! How wonderful! Please post pics soon as I LOVE seeing pics!

BroodyHen, I hope it's your month too!

Ginger Ninja, this is random, but have you seen these?

AFM 11dp and no real EPS at all. DH says that I am unusually hot (not in the sexy way!) and last time I was really hot when I was pregnant, but he's also said that a few times when I haven't been pregnant. But still hopeful as I always am original.gif

RachealJane Im so so sorry to hear about your loss. Hope your taking care of yourself sad.gif I was supposed to return to work in December after 1 year off but I just couldn't do it and DS was pretty clingy at that time. So I extended it til August this year. I can have up to two years off work. If I get pregnant before August i'll have to go back when im 3 months and work til 4 weeks before im due. I'm only planning on going back 2 days a week, 4 hours a day anyways so its no big deal haha. DS has never been left before but as the time gets closer i'll try leaving him for a couple of hours during the day. I cant at night cuz he will defiently need boobie when he wakes.

Welcome BlueDragon! Good luck, hope your UTD without AF having to return!

Happy_daisy sorry AF returned but also good that she came eventually!

Congrats Chev!! So happy for you! Hope you have an easy pregnancy!

Welcome Mrs Ginger Ninja!

Emi, hope your hotness is a good sign wink.gif

AFM, Nothing interesting happening on my end. CD 20 today and have been DTD almost everyday haha. I assume I O'd 3 days ago. I got a big pain on my left side and then the next day I had HEAPS of CM. I don't know but I told DH and we've been going at it lmao!! DS is being a boobie monster lately, hope it doesn't interfere with making a baby, but oh well, im trying to not let TTC get to me too much.

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies original.gif

emiboo - I haven’t seen those before but I MUST get some - how awesome! My little man is our little ginger ninja (Very randomly the only ginger on both side of the family). FX this is your month!

organic~sab - I hear you on the boobie monster... My 16mo is one atm as well. Hoping it doesn’t affect my TTC journey too much, but like you I’m trying to take a relaxed approach.

Chev - Congratulations on your BFP! How exciting!! I hope you have a smooth, uneventful pregnancy original.gif

AFM - Just out of curiosity - are most people in the group charting? Or just leaving things to chance? I’ve never charted before - we were very luck and conceived DS on our first TTC cycle. For some reason I’m really nervous about starting TTC... perhaps because it was so easy for us first time around?
I guess my erratic cycles aren’t helping my nerves... That and the fact that almost every month since AF returned I’ve had some form of EPS (even when I knew I couldn’t be UTD), so its made me a little batty about the whole thing!!

Mrs Ginger Ninja some of us are temp charting but i think just about all of us use OPKs to help pinpoint O. When breastfeeding your O day can move around a fair bit so it does help if you have a whole heap of OPK's and can use them throughout most of your cycle.

Thanks RachaelJane.... I think I need to track down some OPK's then. My DH just wants to DRD every day or 2 all month! It would be a whole lot easier to know when I O tho. So considering I have no idea when O is, do I just start testing once AF is gone or wait till a certain cycle day?
Sorry.... I'm a bit new to the world of OPK's. blush.gif

I buy these ones off ebay: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/50-x-OVULATION-...=item35b0d55c03

I start using them from about cycle day 6.

Best of luck!

Thanks for your well wishes all.

Mrs Ginger Ninja - Good luck pinpointing O, mine was all over the place and a very uneven long cycle.

Organic Sab - Sounds like you've O'd alright, good luck! I hope the whole work situation falls into place easily for you. It has been the hardest part of starting a family for me!

Emiboo - Maybe your 'hotness' is a biological signal for fertility? Good luck, when are you going to test!?!?

Racheal - Yes you are right I think my EDD will be 4th Nov. How are you feeling these days?

Broody Hen - I have had a LOT of ups and downs, as I think I may have mentioned. Very emotional, feeling like I couldn't cope, mood swings, teary.... That was all going on in the week after I O'd. Would have been around conception/implantation time that it was at its worst! I'd say it was the hormones from both BFing and BFP that were messing me up. \

Once again, good luck to you all, and thanks for your congrats. x

Back to cycle day 1 again this morning, I'm sorry to say. But I am grateful that that means I will not be feeling sick when we go on holidays in two weeks. Coz when I have morning sickness, I REALLY have morning sickness!!

And I'm happy that my LT is a decent 13 days long, and that I was cramping all night last night so I didn't really have to wait too long with the hope that I might be pregnant. original.gif

PLUS I have no pads left in the house but I had one tampon, which I usually hate using coz I often don't put it in far enough and it hurts when I sit down lol. But it went in perfectly this time so I'm very pleased with myself!

Hi everyone, just a quick check in.

Firstly, huge congratulations Chevrechou!!

Welcome Ginger ninja, I'm very jealous of your little ginger man, I have red hair but DH has very dark hair and no history of red at all so I'm out of luck I think, so far DS is a dark blonde. Also I used to chart but as DS cosleeps and still wakes at inconvenient times I the mornings I've decided the temp charting won't work and am just going to use OPKs. I bought them off eBay and have just started using them.

emiboo hope your new cycle is a lucky one and you have a lovely holiday. I also really dislike tampons too but love my mooncup, I love it so much I tell everyone about it blush.gif laughing2.gif

Sorry for those I have missed.

AFM still getting negative OPKs, no line at all. So still hoping I detected the end of a surge and did ovulate but a little longer to wait to see if AF really arrives.
