I really wouldn't belive it if i didnt have any symptoms. That's actually what made me test coz i felt sick last Thurs & Fri & was having trouble sleeping even though i was soo tired. Not sure if having trouble sleeping is a symptom though.

I have a feeling i will get MS coz i have been feeling sick already, but again not sure if that is anything to go by. Maybe a 2nd or 3rd timer could help me out there.

How weird is it? If you're anything like me you've been imaging being pregnant & feeling bubs move fo so long, but now that you fianlly are pregnant, you just can't imagine it.

I'm sure i'll go through a stage where i'll REALLY want to know, but i also LOVE surprises so i'll wait it out.

If you think my hands are full, you should see my heart!
Jemiesmum ~ You can change your username... I've done it a couple of times. Click on your username in the Navigation menu on the left. Then click on "my controls". Scroll down to 'change display name' and you can do it in there. biggrin.gif
I definitely think buying something small makes it feel more real.

Stevie ~ My best friend is going to get the Strider Plus.. other than the size, would you recommend it? She is choosing between that and the Valco Twin Runabout as her first child is still quite young.

Kazz ~ That's exactly what I think too... I love going shopping with the baby after it's born to buy pink or blue stuff. original.gif

J4CQUI No i would not. I crossed the road one and the front wheel fell off. Right as a car was about to come, it slammed on the brakes, and a nice lady and man ran out to help me. The hubby (how lucky!!) was at the bakery across the road on his luck break, ran out and drove us home (i had walked)

I called them and they take up to 48 hrs to reply. Then every time you tell them a problem they act like its new and they have never heard of it happening before - kind of a shocked / not intrested feeling.. when i knew this was a problem with other people.

The pram started to squeek when it was 6 months old... and could not be fixed with oil, or new wheels. This isnt just mine, i noticed when i walk around town the other strider prmas do it also.

its so bulky i couldnt fit through many isles and checkouts..

Its not very easy to remove the bottom seat (thats my problem, may not be everyone)

The hood for the bottom seat is very low and my 2 yo couldnt have it on beacuse it would hit her head. It would also pop off occasiaonlly (its meant to be able to pop off, but is an inconvenience when it does it for no reason)

It is very bulky in the boot of your car. If you have a small boot and have the pram in it, dont go shopping because your shopping wont fit in the boot.

I do however think both kids found it very comfy and padded. I do not have anything against the brand strider, jsut this pram... I think i wil just buy a standard pram with no bells and whistles this time... Nothing to break/ standard so its sturdy original.gif

As this is #3 we don't really need anything. I went out yesterday and bought a 0000 white growsuit, I had to get something to make it feel more real. As we already have a DS and a DD we are pretty much set for clothes but of course I will have to splurge on some more original.gif

We already have all the furniture, tandem pram and carseats so I don't get to do too much shopping this time around sad.gif

ETA we have a Strider Plus and I LOVE it! we had the original strider with DS so size isn't an issue for me. When DD came along we upgraded to the plus, I used it with the capsule and second seat for about 13months (she was small) and it was soo convienient!

We have been using it for 17 months with no problems and my just 4yo can still fit under the hood in the second seat (they have since bought out an even tallerseat on the silver model). I could also get in and out of my Hyundai Excel very easily. I just used to put my shopping on top of the pram in the boot.

The only isle I couldn't get through is the standard checkouts at the supermarket, I just go through the wheelchair isle.

I'm not saying Stevie isn't right just that everyone has different experiences.

Eeyolet thats exactly right, everyone has different experiences. I bought the strider origionally because all i could find was GREAT things written about it. It may just have been a bad experience from me, but i just wanted to be honest original.gif

Its unfortunate it hapened to me, i think had nothing of gone wrong, i would have still been using it for number 2/3 with 1 walking... But have decided its not for us original.gif

Im glad yours worked out well for you... i really wish it had of worked for me, there are alot of great features... original.gif

Nothing.

This is number 4 and we will buy some things but we have most of the big ticket items, although we did throw out the change table as it had had it after 3 kids so i am wondering if i need to buy a new one or if we can do without. This one is definately our last.

I bought a Miyo baby hammock about 6 months ago, it was on eBay and the suburb next door to me and a bargain! So I just bought a new mattress insert for it the other night but other than that nothing yet. I want to go shopping but we don't really need anything. Well we do need some things but not baby things. We need to get a wardrobe for the babys room and chest of drawers and some curtains. This baby will be a surprise so Ill just have to go out for a big shop if its a girl biggrin.gif

I do want a new pram though even though I dont really need one......we will see wink.gif

Melzy you will love the Miyo hammock! We got one with a stand off ebay for #2. I use a pillowcase as a sheet for it. I also got a piece of stiff foam cut at clark rubber the same size as the matress and sliped that in the pillowcase too. It isn't necessary at all but I prefered it as it kept the sides more open.
