Hi Everyone

Seeing as though its quiet in here maybe something might like to take a look at my chart?

I have been on a dose of Gonal F this cycle, II had an internal ultrasound on Tuesday which showed a 25mm folicle in my right ovary. That night I took a shot of Ovidrel and my FS said I would ovulate Thursday morning (36 hrs later). I set FF to show ovulation yesterday though I am not 100% convinced. Should my temps show that too? Or would the medication perhaps put my temps out?

I am due to have my pregnyl 1500 shot on Monday, but maybe that is wrong now? Its day 4 and 7 I have the triggers dont i?

What do you think?

katski - you can kind of ignore your temps a little on a medicated cycle, particularly around O. Just check out my IUI cycles (I label the charts, you'll find 4 of them). You'll see my temps don't behave properly around O either. The first couple of times I was sure that the FS got the timing wrong, so for the last two, I made sure I got an ultrasound on the day of the IUI to make sure I hadn't Od yet. The temps should then settle down a bit and you can use them to see if AF is on her way.

Considering my O temps are also screwy on the last 2 cycles where I was only taking letrozole (Femara), I think it must be that that does it for me. Fingers crossed for you!

Hi girls! AF has taken it out of me this month - been a weird one ... spotting, then 3 day AF and now back to spotting. I'm wondering if it's always been like this but i've always classified it as 5 days. Weird. Anyhoo.

I highly recommend VIP on Fertility Friend! I think it's really worthwhile.

Well - i did hot yoga today and dedicated my practice to 'becoming more fertile' haha ... i hope it worked, I know one thing I was soooo tired afterwards that I slept for an hour on the couch this afternoon! yikes!!

How is everyone anyway? It's been quiet around here! Where is everyone at in their cycle?

Also - quick question ... how do you decide the difference between 'light' and 'spotting' on Fertility Friend? I'm a little confused right now ... my herbs seem to have given me the 'power AF' all out and fast! I had a really heavy painful first day, then medium 2nd, then light 3rd and now i guess spotting! Anyone else experienced this?

So we meet again, Caroldiem! original.gif

I think I'm 5dpo so I will test in a week as my luteal phase is 13 days. I really hope this is my month but if not, I'm considering temping vaginally not orally next cycle. Itd be more accurate, wouldn't it? Just not sure of the logistics when doing that half asleep biggrin.gif

Hi girls

Long time, no post!

Sorry about that. I've been quite stressed and to be honest, I have just been enjoying hibernating.

Firstly, to all the ladies who have recently had a visit from the witch....boooooo! mad.gif

Secondly, I see we've been joined by quite a few newbies lately....hello and welcome bbighug.gif

katski - I did IUI this cycle and chose not to have Gonal F but did have a trigger of Pregnyl 5000iu. It doesn't really seem to have affected my chart at all, it looks pretty typical so I guess it's different for everyone. I'm sorry, I can't help you with the double trigger question but I'm sure the ladies over in the Assisted forums can help. You seem to have no problem with ovulation so can I ask why the Gonal F?

emski - How were the test results? Good luck with IVF, I hope you are feeling ok about it. I might see you over in the Assisted forums original.gif You too Lindyloo!

tui_bird - I'm sorry this comes so late but huge congratulations on your BFP eexcite.gif I hope everything is going well for you.

Mel - Go Murphy's Law tthumbs.gif

AFM - I saw my FS a couple of weeks ago and we had the IVF chat. I was still in complete denial at this stage as AF was late which it never is so I was dreaming that at the 11th hour we had achieved success. Unfortunately, the next day I started spotting so reality really hit....hard cry1.gif Two days later I was sitting in the office of the IVF clinic signing a million forms and learning how to inject myself, starting that night. This really freaks me as I don't even take panadol unless I'm really in pain. It was all so very overwhelming for us both as it had happened so quickly ffear.gif To make matters worse we were both so stressed that we had a huge fight the night before and didn't get much sleep so we were feeling pretty crappy to begin with. I spent almost the entire appointment in tears and also burst into tears at work later that day. In the end we decided that we hadn't had enough time to come to grips with it all and decided to delay it a month. In the meantime, we did a cycle of IUI. Delaying it was definitely the right decision as I am feeling better about it now. We may still do one more cycle of IUI yet, haven't quite decided......
