So after the article in paper about benefits for leaving hospital early, I am wondering if anyone knows whether there is any package offered by Frances Perry.
There is a chance if baby doesnt come soon that I will have no option in coming home early to look after the kids, so wondering if maybe there will be something else to look forward to or that would actually be more useful than the days in hospital/hotel to just focus on baby and rest. Does anyone know? |

hey
most of the packages are for vaginal delivery, no complications.... generally 2nd time mum who "know" what they are doing also i think most privates will keep you there. either in hospi ward or hotel for the full 4 days.... maybe speak to your ob?? |

This is probably far too late for you, but when I was staying in the hotel after leaving the hospital, there was a family that had the new baby AND all their kids aged under 12 in with them (I think one or two? not sure).
I'm pretty sure they would have had to pay extra for any meals, but I think it would have worked out pretty well - the midwives were right on tap if you needed help, all meals for mum were provided (with enough leftover for dad) and it was SO MUCH quieter than the ward. It would be lovely to have an adventure to welcome the new addition into the family |
