Morning Ladies, I hope everyone has had a good weekend.

Taurus - I braced myself and checked out most prices almost a year ago now (when DH and I decided we would start TTC in Dec 2011) so I could start saving straight away! Still not sure exactly what we will end up getting, we have quite a few friends with little ones, and they all seem to use different combinations! (We're thinking of holding off on getting anything big until the june/july sales original.gif )

AFM - having a bleugh day. With four days off over the weekend with Australia Day I got really used to not having to get up at 6:00am for work. My m/s isn't so bad most of the time, but flares up every now and then. I'm not as tired as I thought I would be, but again, some days are worse than others. So far the days I hate the most is when I get m/s coupled with a headache! wacko.gif

I am majorly looking forward to another long weekend for DH and myself to celebrate our 1yr anniversary biggrin.gif

Question: since finding out you are PG have you had sex and how did it make you feel? (like was it better than normal, but did you worry the whole time).

In general I'm finding that the thought of sex isn't really appealing to me like it usually does, but if DH gets me in the mood I turn into a firecracker (lol). But the whole time during foreplay and then for about 24-48hrs after, I'm insanely worried (even though I know I don't have to be).

Ayla - thanks I am just a bit spoilt from the 2 private pregnancy's before this original.gif

N@K - I am more interested in sex at the moment but I ahve the exact some fears - even though they are irrational. But this beng my 4th pregancy (I have 2 little girls and 1 miscarriage) I had virtually no sex with the miscarriage and lots with the others. SO maybe the bouncing helps - LOL

I am currently 8 weeks and getting sicker and tireder by the day!!
Also I am due SEP 4th not sure if I said please add me - thanks in advance original.gif

PS the heat on the weekend meant I spent alot of time just laying around - anyone else feel like a sloth? original.gif

Well I have now picked an obstetrician, thanks to a recommendation from one of my cousins. I called today and made an appointment for three weeks time, when I will be 10 weeks.
Thanks, BumpedUp for the advice! It was really helpful original.gif

Hello Ladies,

Sorry I have been MIA just been so busy, morning sickness, tired, working, cooking, have a toddler, etc..

Firstly, moi, so sorry to hear of the loss of your much wanted bub. bbighug.gif

Just a very short one from me today.

Saw my OB last week, and I don't know what came over me but I wee'd before I saw him, and he always scans at every appt, so didn't get to see much. Going back again on Wednesday. I saw the sac but that was about it. He swears he saw a little one and a h/b.

Am thinking my due date will be a bit later as I generally have longer cycles. Will probably be going earlier though.

We usually go on a "wait and see" approach, but he wants be to have a think about what sort of birth I'd like this time, C/S or a VBAC. I tend to not be able to carry over 36w, but we will see how I go this time.

Will catch up on Wed.

Jules. xx

Good Morning Ladies!

Wow its hot in Sydney at the moment. Has been really hot in bed the last couple of days and I have been sleeping terribly. Also Ive been having a bad dream every night. Anyone else has this?

N@K: Sex hasnt been high on my agenda, because Im sooo tired but when we do have it, its great, but have definately decreased our weekly sessions as Im just too tired... Poor DH. Hopefully this passes soon.

Amy: No worries. My appt with OB is on 9 Feb. Im pretty excited and nervous about it.

So DH and I have only told my best friend, and its so weird having this awesome secret, but its hard to believe that its actually real and happening because we arent talking about it openly with others yet. I just cant wait to hit 12 wks! Anyone else feel the same?

Have a good day everyone!

Hi all,

Not much to report - just checking in. I've had nausea for about three weeks now, when I reported this to my GP this morning she was THRILLED, so it's obviously a good sign. She has booked my first scan, but not for another four weeks, so I have to wait to see the bean. Poo.

So much waiting! I haven't told work yet, but if I can't manage to keep the m/s under wraps, I may have to. I have four casual jobs, so that's a lot of people to tell.

I'm going to try to get most of the baby hardware second hand - why not, when most people only use it for a few years? I'm stalking those friends who have small bubs to try to snag their capsule before someone else does! I'm a sewer and knitter - my sister and brother have told me I have to make all the clothes! Perhaps, but those Bonds onesies are sooo cute!

HI all
not much activity in here but i guess we are all feeling the same way.. sick, tired and emotional! Well that is definately me.. i am barely holding up with the all day all night nausea. feeling like a bad mum to the other kids because i need to lie down when my baby does and preparing food .. even smelling bread or my failsafe backup food chocolate.. makes me gag so badly. I wonder if being older makes the difference.. with each pregnancy the nausea has kicked up a notch and its hard to cope with.. and then i think of the people who vomit every day until giving birth and think i dont really have much to complain about.. its just hard when there is no end in sight to the nausea.. so enough!

Hope everyone else is enjoying first scans or the excitment of telling people.. hopefully the next couple of weeks fly by!
