Twilightangel - So glad your scan went well. I have been stalking ph34r.gif How do your kids go at the Drive In? Ours are shocking for at least half the movie. Sit down, stand up, hop in the car, You stole my pillow, I'm thirsty.... etc... We went on Sat night too and thank goodness they were asleep by the second movie so DH and I got to watch Zookeeper under the stars.

I am also happy not to touch another roll of contact for a year. I'm buying clear plastic covers next year and they will make do. There is no way I am covering 3 kids books next year!

Twilight26 - Hope you are feeling better soon. I had the same meltdown yesterday about how I'm going to cope.

Hippie Chick Good luck with your u.s on wed.

Nearing 13 weeks here now and still sick. 2 kids have went back to school this morning and Ella has started Kindy. Quiet.... Its lovely lol!

Need some advice, sorry it's not pregnancy related. Just need to know if I am over reacting due to pregnancy hormones etc.

The older 2 kids went back to school today, were quite excited etc.

The issue is there is one particular dad that drops his kids off at the school that is nasty, like really nasty. Last year the cops were called on him multiple times and a few parents have had run in's with him, myself included unfortunately.

For some reason he took an instant disliking to me when he noticed I have WA plates on my car, I am constantly being told to f**k off to WA where I belong and since then it has escalated to him threatening me with physical violence and my property, when driving he has swerved to hit my car twice and another time he swerved to hit me and the kids. I know that he has followed another mum home and that he has purposely reversed into another car outside the school cause she bipped her horn at him.

Problem ... His kid is in DD1's class. As soon as I walked into the class this morning to drop her off he gave me a dirty look. I don't need to deal with his crap this year, I dont need the stress whilst I am pregnant but my only solution is to request DD1 change class rooms.

Do you think I should do that or am I over reacting?

Also one of DD1's good friends is in that class with her, do I upset her by removing her from that friend and placing her in another class? She does make friends easily which is a good thing.

I'm just so unsure of what to do. Any advice appreciated.

Mum of 5
Twilight - go and speak to the principal and make sure they are aware of what is going on. If he is doing it to alot of parents they may need to get a court order to keep him off of the school grounds. They may also be able to give you some advice as to what to do about changing classes or keeping DD in the same class. This is just so not what you need right now

Hippie-chick - good luck for your scan, let us know how you go. Glad you are feeling a bit better!

Twilight 26 - I had a day like that last week and had a big talk to DH about it. Made me feel a bit better. The thing is, we just do cope, and yes it is busier but things still get done, life goes on and we just take it one day at a time. Good luck Tuesday for your scan xx

MS - we don't have to contact many of our books which has been great. My eldest DS has a new teacher this year so will see what she expects! I have to go and pay school fees for our eldest DD tomorrow for high school (the credit card is going to feel it!) and she will get her books then, but our primary kids get them once they go back. Unfortunately we have another week to go!

AFM - I am getting very impatient now. I just want to know when my scan is. I have my first appointment at the hospital on 1 Feb to book in and will get the referral then. I know it has to be within the next 3 weeks, but can't wait to have a date now so I can just get that confirmation that all looks okay in there!

Anyway, have a friend coming over and my house is still a mess and I need to eat something so better go.

Talk soon

xx

twilightangel - I agree that you need to speak to the principal and make sure that the school is aware of his actions.

hippie_chick_1980 - good luck on Wednesday, it's so nice to see bub and see/hear that heartbeat.

Twilight26 - I really hope the ms eases very soon for you, i've been so much sicker this time that with the first.

magicalsurprise - you must be one of the earliest due, i'll be 13 weeks on Saturday and can't wait to be in the second trimester biggrin.gif

AFM - Morning sickness is starting to ease, I seem to only feel sick now when i'm hungry so I can manage that with light snacking. I'm still exhausted but when I saw my OB last week he said my iron was borderline so I guess that explains the tiredness, so i've started taking extra vitamins.
I don't do the 12 week scan but my OB did one for me last week os I got to see bub again, such a big difference from the 7 week one to the 11 week one.
I have booked in my 20 week scan for 20th March so the countdown is on now, so excited to find out the sex.

Twilight26 - I'm glad your starting to feel a little more normal. Hope you continue to improve. Good luck for tomorrow, I am looking forward to hearing how it went. I think everyone has that moment when they wonder how they are going to cope but you just do. I honestly found the jump from 3 to 4 the hardest, I believe once you have learnt juggling more kids than hands then the rest is easy.

Hippie_Chick - Sorry to hear that the morning sickness has returned worse than ever. Good luck for your ultrasound on Wednesday, how exciting. Can't wait to hear all about your little ones progress.

MagicalSurprise - Thanks. The kids did well surprising. The older 3 were talkative and fidgety during the Muppets but I personally think that that was because they didn't like it. After that movie I put DS2 back into his car seat and he fell asleep within 5 minutes and the older 3 sat as quiet as mice whilst watching Alvin and the Chipmunks 3. Not bad fo their first time at the drive in's. Is there another drive in around? We went to the Yatala one. I had a mild panic attack the other night over the fact I will one day be covering 5 kids school books, ahhh!!!! Wondering if I can pay someone next year to do mine, lol or I will buy the clear plastic covers too cause at least they are reusable.

MegsW - Ouch to the credit card, hope it's not too bad. I was surprised this year. I am usally lazy and get the school packs, lol but I decided to do it myself this year and managed to save myself $60. I would be getting impatient too. I'm getting impatient for you, lol. As you would have seen on Facebook situation sorted, yay. I am so relieved.

As I mentioned to MegsW my above situation is sorted. I went to the principal this afternoon and explained that due to the run in's I have had with this gentleman (term used very loosely) I would like my daughter moved. Principal was very happy to accomodate that as I have reported every incident to him and he has even had to call the cops for me once. Principal said my options were for her to be moved tomorrow or because I expressed my concern at Alyssa losing her friend he informed me that he has to make another class as the class sizes are too large at the moment and he will put Alyssa and a friend of hers in that class with other kids to seperate her from his daughter. I am so relieved. DH and I are leaning towards sticking it out for the week until he has made the new class as then a few kids will be moving into this class and it won't look like I have purposely pulled her out to avoid him and give him more ammo towards me.

Picked up my NT scan results today. As I mentioned before bubs heartbeat was 155bpm, length is 62.3mm crown to rump and the NT measured 1.5mm. Unfortunately I have an anterior placenta again, I have only had one pregnancy where I didn't have an anterior placenta so that means DH won't feel the kicks for a while yet. My results came back as 1 in 5254 for Downs Syndrome so I am pretty sure that is low risk so I am happy about that.

Well I'm off to get the kids into bed, be back later hopefully.
