My DS1 turns 4 this year, I have't had games at any of his previous parties and I'm planning on having it at Kid City this year so it won't be an issue this year either

Last year when J turned 1 we had a ball bit, swing set/slippery dip that amused the little ones plus the older kids.
This year for his 2nd we will have the same, as well as his toy tractor, pin the owl on the tree and a craft table. This post has been edited by ~Jane05~: 09/04/2012, 03:43 PM |

pin the owl on the tree[/b] and a craft table. Cute idea Jane! OP, at two I think the kids are mostly happy just to play. We played pin the beak because we had some older kids coming but other than that we put out the sand trolley, balls, a tunnel, cubby house and a bubble machine. Honestly the kids would have had a ball with just the bubble machine! Good luck with your party prep, and I hope everything goes smoothly for you health wise too. |

I wouldn't bother with a game at those ages. I'd keep a few balls and bats handy for if it's in the garden, and maybe some bubbles, and some of those cheapo tubs of playdough for if it rains, and you should be right.

I wouldn't do a game but I might have a simple activity. Bubbles are good.
