so I have been typing up all my recipes to put in a new book as this one is a bit tatty and just wanted to share one of my fave cake recipes. This is the easiest cake you will ever make and kids love it so great for afternoon teas/school lunches.
P.S. sorry, it is an old recipe so it is farenheit. Cream Cake 3 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 cup cream 1 1/2 cups SR flour Beat eggs and sugar for 5 mins. Add cream and stir in flour. Pour into lined roasting dish and bake at 400 deg for 15 mins, then 375 deg for 15-25. When cool spread with icing (just the old icing sugar, margarine, vanilla and boiling water kind of icing, I like mine tinted pink  ) and sprinkles.enjoy |
