szj - ooooh, 1 month to go!!! exciting! haha, I'm eating yoghurt for breakfast right now. My hubby always wears tightish undies, so I'm not sure... hmmm, maybe through the TTC cycle?

Allie - that's a tricky question. I don't think I'd do the gender swaying without hubby knowing, but eating some of the girl diet yourself wouldn't hurt?? We both wanted a boy first and didn't do anything to sway, just went for it.

aurora - how was your hot date???? did you have fun in the car!?! biggrin.gif What CD are you up to now? Are you and hubby tired?? lol.

We are at CD 12 today. Eeeek! We've DTD for the last few days, so I'm at the day that I didn't know whether to stop or not... I think we'll DTD again today and then stop. I ovulate in around 3 days, so that should be ok. ARGH!!!

Well i think the Witch is going to come for me tomorrow. Slight spotting when checking cervix today so that sucks! Sucks even more that my LP is getting even shorter FFS, i hope its implation bleed but im not liking my chances. My temp is still high and i dont have any period pain (i usually get it really bad) so Im not gonna bother testing again now ill just wait and see. cry1.gif

back for personals later

CLM - 9DPO I see....VERY typical of an implantation bleed?!?! Where is your temp at in comparision to your normal "early in the cycle" temp?
I know with my pregnancies, all 5 of them, I have had a temp rise up to 37.00 where usually before ovulation I am 36.3 ish
I am holding hope for you

I read the Shettles book about choosing the sex of your baby and it said to stop 3-4 days out from ovulation and if it doesn't work, to then slowly creep closer to ovulation. Let's see how we go! The 2ww starts very soon!!

Hey lovelies!!! waves.gif

Hahahaha oh well, our hot date ended in a very annoying way - DH wasn't heaps keen for the car (too worried we would get caught!!!!) and so we went home to relieve the babysitter (my mum!) and I FELL ASLEEP ON THE LOUNGE!!!!!!! rolleyes.gif Ha oh dear, I was a bit annoyed! Luckily we'd done it the night before and that would have been an extra one. So, still on track and BD last night, but missed our special date night!

We're at CD 8 now, and planning on stopping at CD 12 as I normally O at CD 16. It's tempting to go a bit closer but I think I really need to stop then. I'll go up to CD 13 next month if this one doesn't happen for us.

Awwwww clm lovely, I hope it's implantation for you!!! So hard in this waiting time hey, you just 2nd guess every little sign. sad.gif Can you distract yourself? I think that's what I'll be trying to do!

Haha aqua, not too tired yet! DH is being a real trooper! I think he got a bit of cold feet about a week ago but he's been really supportive since then. Great guy that he is. wub.gif

Anyone for another question: What pregnancy test will you use and will you test by yourself or with DH/P/etc? If testing by yourself, how will you tell DH/P/etc?

For me, I'd like to use one of those ones that says 'Pregnant/Not pregnant' on them - might try to find them cheaper online? And will probably test with DH - unless I can think of a cool way to let him know I'm pregnant. I think I might be sad if I tested by myself and it was negative though...

Hi Ladies!

aqua.lime- I both loathe and love the tww! I will keep all my fingers and toes crossed for you!

szj- I dont know when to stop DTD either and I am soooo tempted to go closer to ovulation ‘just in case’! i guess we’ll start at 3/4 days out and creep closer too.

aurora sleeping- sorry you missed out on your date night! It’s a great idea.

AF arrived today ( a day late and I was seriously annoyed). so we are at CD1 and I’m sooooo excited! YIPEEEEE. depending on how long AF decides to stay we will start on CD4 (or 6) and do it every second day until 3 or four days out from ‘o’.
DH says he doesn’t want to know all the nitty gritty because he thinks it will be less exciting… i just have to seduce him every second night apparently… lol
As for testing…. I will probably test early by myself because i know i will not be able to wait until AF is due… However, I will do a test with DH at the end of the tww….

I have a bunch of internet cheapies sitting the in cupboard waiting to be used happy.gif so I'll use those until I get a positive and then I'll grab one from the chemist / supermarket to make sure! I'll probably do it by myself and then tell DH biggrin.gif

aurora - sorry to hear about your hot date going not so great, but you've still got lots of time to catch those spermies lol!! not long until you are in the 2ww too!!

Ally04 - thanks! CD1 for you!! woot!! Not long until you can start DTD biggrin.gif

CD13 now for me original.gif

Hi Ladies! Can I join in? Used to frequent these forums before joining a-gender almost 2 years ago.

We have been TTC for our first DD, after DS2 who is now 3, for 18 mths with no luck. A-gender has recently advised all of us existing clients that they cannot offer ongoing support apart from providing best dates for attempting. Basically I wanted to be able to chat to girls going through same stuff as no-one else understands.

I'm sorry for not doing personal notes for all of you but am sure to follow you from now and comment.

Good luck to everyone original.gif

Hi wannapinky!!!! Welcome to our group! waves.gif

It sucks a bit that you've been cut off from your original support but this is a great group in here and you are certainly very welcome to come and chat about your highs and lows with us (without hearing the condescending 'Oh but you should be happy with a healthy baby regardless of gender' crap)! We understand!!!! yyes.gif

Hehe I wanna pinky too!!! ppinkstork.gif Sooooooo what strategies are you using??? We have quite a few doing the timing, a few doing the diets and some more doing the supplements. I'm trying position too but sometimes it's a bit boring LOL! roll2.gif Did you end up getting dates etc before you left A Gender? I'd be interested to hear what they said! Sucks that it's taking a while for you and I really hope it happens very soon!!!

Dum de dum. CD 10 for me. 3 more nights of BDing and then I'm cutting DH off!!! laughing2.gif He's not very happy about that! Ah well. The things you do! Hope your hump day is a hump day in more ways than one!!!! grin.gif

Kath xxx
