LOL! Silver-pink! biggrin.gif

so good to see so many people!

szj, that's good that your charting is going as you planned. I've been keeping mental track of my CM for months now, and it's the same each month.

I've just finished reading "how to choose the sex of your baby" by Dr Shettles. I borrowed it from the library yesterday and managed to get through most chapters while my boys played around me wink.gif

I think for my first month (next month, woot) I'll DTD up to day 10 and stop. Then the next month up to day 11 and stop. I'll try that for a couple of months and see how we go.

and bronze pink for me! waves.gif

hi everyone (hi aqua and bubba!)

we have decided to postpone ttc til next month. thought we needed to do a full month on all of the supplements and I really want a summer baby so january could be a bit early. april would be ideal, but i realise i cant pinpoint it so precisely! so am doing my OPKs again, hope i can figure them out better this time (i started trying to pinpoint O a while ago, but i wasnt doing so well).

otherwise not much going on here. my dad is in hospital and has been for the last week so a quick visit up to wollongong today to see him. hope he gets out soon, he hates hospital.

where is everyone from?

A

Hi MaxandMe original.gif sorry to hear your Dad's in the hospital. I hope he is ok and gets better soon. I'm also waiting a month to get the supps all happening for a month. I'm also trying to get in a bit better shape this month too. I pigged out at Christmas!! Do you have regular cycles? I've found using CM has made me pinpoint O as it's the same each month.

I'm from Sydney original.gif

Hello ladies!

maxandme I used to livein Wollongong, you are around that area? Sorry to hear of your Dad, men in hospital are terrible aren't they!

We are in Bundaberg, QLD.

Oh! Another thing I wanted to share is that we are keeping our TTC a secret, SO many people keep asking "surely you aren't having anymore are you? And I just don't want to see the faces, worst of all is family.
BUT the negative of this is that I am a result of Gender Swaying, my Mum tried for over 16mths to get a girl, and she got TWINS!!! LOL!!! My husband is scared!!
I would love to share this time with My Ma, but she is the loudest in her opinions of how many children we have.

QUOTE (szj @ 05/01/2012, 01:56 PM) *
Does LOTS of Bding the mth before lessen the sperm count if you are not BDing over the 5- days of AF? I told DH this morning he will have to decrease his sperm count while I have my period, he was horrified! LOL!!!

That's what I'm thinking szj so we're having a 'practice' month this month. Lucky DH. tongue.gif And yep, we had the talk last night about what needs to be done, re trying for our girl - he's going to have a bit of warm bath action before the main event too, when we get closer.

Hey hey MaxandMe, looks like a few of us will be jumping on the bandwagon next month - same here! ddance.gif I'm so keen to start TTC as I'm worried it might not happen quickly. I'd love a 2012 bub and there's really not much more time for that left!!!!!

Hope your Dad's okay btw. unsure.gif Hope he gets out soon!!!

And I'm from the Sutherland area - so not too far from the Gong!!! biggrin.gif Sounds like you, me and Aqualime aren't too far away from each other! happy.gif

And welcome Bubba08 waves.gif - the OPKs I got off ebay are these ones:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/230600414092?ss...984.m1439.l2649

Hope that helps!!! =) Just remember with them - they show when you get the LH hormone surge and Ovulation occurs 24-48 hours AFTER that. So, once you get a positive OPK, Ovulation is about to happen (please someone correct me if this is wrong as I'm not a seasoned professional, just been doing it the last couple of months).

szj oh man, imagine you had twins!!!!! Good on you trying for another bub despite what others say. You never know what little person you're going to bring into this world, and what wonderful things they might do! bbabyflip.gif

hi everyone!

aurora yippee for next month! i have those OPKs too. Your understanding is the same as mine, I just dont always seem to catch my surge sad.gif I grew up in Wollongong and went to uni there but now live in canberra. Miss the gong.

szj - i grew up in dapto specifically, went to high school in north wollongong. what about you? Im scared of twins - my mum, my aunts and DHs aunts are twins. Eeeek.

aqua
- my cycles are pretty much spot on 28 days. now that im paying attention, i do notice my CM changing but Im still a bit unsure of it all! Im also trying to lose weight. when i was BF i couldnt keep weight on and Ive kept the party going a little too long and have now packed on a few kilos. need to lose so i have some room to move when i get pregnant!

not much going on here - weather is poo so am just tidying. thinking of buying a new house soon so we are trying to get things done around this place. too much to do! DS starts childcare this week so I am also stressed about that!

hope everyone is well xx

maxandme I moved from QLD at the tender age of 17 to be with a boy from Wollongong (read as d***head!! LOL!!) I worked at the Glasshouse night club ,and at times the cafe, MUCH to my parents discust! I also worked in the Sportsco Sports store in the middle of town. I went to Uni there for 2 years, studying teaching. Sadly my opinion of Wollongong is negative, only because of the Boy I was with, NASTY!!

My little bubba (almost 16mths) is sick, has had 39 degree temps for 2 days, hope it's just a virus his body will fight, not getting any sleep, and he is so clingy, makes me think about TTC #4....! But then when I think about not have another baby it hurts in my heart too much, forget logic!!! My heart rules.

szj - I hope your DS feels better soon sad.gif mine are both snuggly boys, especially DS2 who needs to have constant contact with my skin (in particular his hand down my shirt! lol) I do wonder how they will go with a new little baby around. But I'm sure they'll adjust and want to "help"
And oh my goodness! Imagine if you have twins!!

aurora - I'd also love a 2012 bub. My DS1 starts school this year, so it's great timing to have another baby original.gif although, any time would be fine.

I'm not using OPKs but I've ordered some internet cheapy pregnancy tests from ebay so that I don't have to spend much money on HPTs until I get a positive on the cheapies.

I'm back to work tomorrow after the Christmas holidays. I only work 2 days a week so it's not too bad, but I still don't want to go!!

I'm on CD 13 at the moment. bring on next cycle!
