Hi, I'm a long time stalker and thought it was about time I introduced myself.

I'm 28 1/2wks with twins (due 21 June). It was a total shock, no fertility tmt or family history (guess it has to start somewhere). They have their own placentas and sacks so we don't think they're identical but it looks like 2 girls so apparently there is a chance they are (not that it matters). I have a 20 month old DS and 3 kids under 2 wasn't the plan:)

Things have been ticking along nicely apart from reflux and being more tired than usual. I've really started to notice everything getting more difficult this last week, and been glad (well you know what I mean) to hear all your similar stories (in this thread and the other multiples section). I've really hit the wall energy wise and my reflux is so bad most nights I can't face cooking and end up eating nutella pancakes or nothing at all for dinner. Luckily I have a great DH who is doing his best to keep up some nutritional standards. Now add in shortness of breathe and back, leg, shoulder pains- I'm just whinging about everything!! I have similar concerns that I've read others have regarding delivery (I really want a vaginal delivery and am always talking to twin A about keeping her head down). Having a caesar and a toddler worries me, DS is a bit of a sooky kid and still needs to be carried a bit.

As for the bubs, they are kicking like crazy and I think they are growing well- I have a scan tomorrow, along with Ob and glucose screening test (prob should cut down on those nutella pancakes). I'm going through the public twins clinic at RPA so hopefully won't have a 5 hour epic like NYB. At least DS is in daycare tomorrow.

NYB- sorry for the jinx on your last appt. I've been trying to PM you but I must be doing something wrong as it won't send. Are you going to the education session on wed? I think it is on surviving at home in the first 2 wks.

Anyway, Its great to read all of your stories and experience and valuable information those of you who have had your bubs or are further along share.

Better go finish making DS's Easter hat (as if a 20month old is going to keep it on his head!)

Need some advice as in the July school holidays I will driving 6 hours to Perth to buy a car with my hubby and 2 kids and I will be approx 30 weeks am I kidding myself? We can stop halfway as my hubby's parents live there to break the trip up. I was lucky with my first two pregnancies could do everything up to the day I gave birth but with twins I'm assuming it's not going to be possible just after anyone who is approx 30 weeks and how they are coping?
