There seems to be a great demand from EB members for the care of a trainee doula or midwifery student during their pregnancy. So I've decided to start a thread for these people.

If you would like to have a trainee doula or student midwife follow you through your pregnancy please post your details here including the area you are in and your EDC. Once you have had the baby please edit your post or post again so that interested parties know that you are no longer a potential candidate.

Hope this makes it easier for you all, members and trainees! original.gif

Old thread is here.

Hello. I am currently 16 weeks pregnant and due on 22nd June 2012. I am located south of Adelaide at Sheidow Park and require a trainee midwife and/or doula. I am attending FMC for antenatal care. This is my 7th pregnancy and 5th baby. My last labour was only 45mins, so I guess someone close by to me would be handy.

Hi!

I am currently 34 weeks (due on April 4th 2012) and have just got my docs to agree to let me go naturally (VBAC). Due to the short notice I havent been able to organise anything so if there are any trainee doula's or midwives in CANBERRA that would like to assist me in my birth please PM me.

Thanks!!

Thought I might post here in the off chance there is a student Midwife/Doula in the Central West NSW area (particularly Cowra & surrounds)? I'll be birthing at Cowra Hospital.

I'm currently 17wks pregnant with baby #4, due 29th July, and I'm going for a VBAC.

If you're able to help, please PM me, as I may forget to check back in here.

Thankyou.

Hi Chatabox
Congratulations on your pregnancy! I am a first year ACU Midwifery Student who is just beginning her Follow Through Journey. Are you still looking for a student midwife to support you in your pregnancy? If so, I would love to meet you and discuss further. Kind regards
