Above all else... sky
Those are some high calorie burns! I assume you're using a HRM?

I run for an hour and 10 mins and only burn about 700cals!!

Glad you're not giving up.

Hi all,

How was weigh in today? Bean - better results? my fingers are crossed for you.

I lost 0.4kg so am 0.3kg from my goal weight. I'd hoped to get there this week just to have it over and done with but aren't crushed to be a little off still.

My workouts are going well though I never reached the required cal burn. Just can't get there. Even my SSS this weekend - I did a 45 min circuit class then 45 min of the workout plan and still only just got over 800 cal. I literally had no time left to keep going to get up to 1000cal.

I hope your kitchen is organised by now too, Bean.

What's news everyone? original.gif

Hey babaganoush... I am still here.
Kitchen is nearly fnished, waiting for bench tops and it is ready! Hurrah!

I lost 700gms this week, and am hoping I get a great number next week.

Since I have no uterus, I am unsure how cycles affect me anymore, so I have NFI where I am and what's doing, so hopefully i figure that out soon too!

We have been quiet! I had a gain the week before last so I was not doing so well and my exercise had slipped. But I re did the fitness test and I was beginner at the start and have moved into intermediate. So that was good. AND I jogged the whole km. I jogged for 7 mins and 20 secs. That is extraordinary for me! So while I have struggled I will keep ploughing on.

How is everyone else doing?

I have struggled big time these last two weeks!
I can see why and recognise the excuses, so this week I am JFDI and hoping it just becomes routine.

I'm here and still going although have up and down days - today is good and will be a good total cal burn by the end of many cals. I'm loosely following Lean & Strong (3 weight days then a PT session on Friday) and running as training for a marathon. So far down 2.7 with 3.5 to go. Only small amounts each week but as long as it keeps coming off I'm happy.

How did everyones milestone/week 4 fitness test go? I improved on everything but the wall squat, legs were knackered from the test and last 2 running days so wasn't surprising. Still something to improve on for week 8.

Lanthe well done on the run, keep at it.

Bean just keep doing the best you can, some days are good some are bad it's just remembering that and not letting one bad day ruin all the others that matter.

I've also deviated from the meal plan, because i don't eat feta, ricotta or cottage cheese, avocado or vegemite!

Bean have you ever tried Quark Cottage Cheese OMG! Amazing.

Hi all,

Things are progressing along well here. I am in maintenance mode and managed to stay at exactly the same weight this week so can't do any better than that!!

My fitness test was great. I took 42 secs off my time trial and am officially in the Advanced category. Though I'm still following the Intermediate program as I prefer to mix up fitness and strength training rather than choosing just one.

My mini-milestone ended up being reached a week early but I repeated it on the weekend - on Saturday mornings at my small gym there are a group of super fit people who do the boxfit class at 8 am and stay on for the circuit class at 9 am. For over a year now I've struggled through just the circuit class and dreamed of being fit enough to do both.

And I have, two weeks in a row now! biggrin.gif I'm smashing it!!

Eating-wise, I've definitely found I'm better off not trying to eat a little bit of a treat cos it just makes me want more rather than satisfying me. So no more berry muffins for this house. One wasn't enough!!

Most importantly though, my body fat % has dropped over 2.5% which is above my goal of 0.5% per week. I just need to keep it up now that I'm not wanting to loose any more weight. Not sure how easy that will be. I'm having lots of protein as snacks at the moment.

It's great to read your updates. I have been completely on track this week. Exercised each day-even got up early this morning to make it to the gym because I have sick kids and knew I wouldn't make it later. I suspected I was coming down with their cold too and I have but I am pleased I did something today.

Tomorrow I am just waiting and seeing how I feel before I make a decision about exercise.

Well done Babganoush on the mini milestone, maintenance and time trial, awesome.

The Advanced Lean and Fit is just the advanced version of intermediate - cardio and weights. You should give it a go because you'll kill it!

How are you feeling Lanthe, hope it hasn't turned into a cold.
