Hi I am looking for an activity for my DS to do on a day that he's not at preschool next year. I love the idea of the Mpowerdome in fadden and their classes for 3-7 yrs preparing for all sports but I can't find anything similar on the north side. I'm in west belconnen so a drive to tuggeranong is a bit out of our way.

I have found Playerfc for soccer and soccer joeys but is there any other sports? Mostly I could find 5+ classes. Can someone steer me in the right direction surely there is something around for him to get lots of physical exercise and have fun other than in tuggeranong.

Thanks

I know Capital Football runs football clinics for parent and kids aged 3-5 on Thursdays at Hawker. Before season starts next year, they usually run a Sunday program too. Check out their website under game development.

You could try gymnastics which my eldest did during the week but I must admit, I am only familiar with sports that run after school and on weekends.

Try 'in-2-cricket' - it's a national program run through the local cricket clubs. Our club has a one hour session on a fri evening. My boys started at age 4 and they do drills, learning about batting and bowling. Plus the parents sit on the grass watching and drinking beer (all good!!)

Again I am looking for activities. He did AFL in the winter which was good. I was going to do Cricket but he isn't interested anymore. He wanted to do hockey but I think that's a winter sport. Is there any Summer sports or anything I haven't thought of? He is turning 5 in December and it can be after school or weekends.

I can't seem to find a website which covers this which I find really odd.

Thanks again original.gif

Soccajoeys is brilliant. My four year old loves it, We have been going for the past 6 school terms.
It is held indoors so weather is not a problem.
