My sister uses Peapod nappies and my mum has offered to buy us 48 peapods (24 each size) when our bub arrives. While i've been reasonably impressed with the peapods from what i've seen with my sister, i'm also aware that different babies work with different nappies. I think i'd prefer to use pocket nappies as i like the all-in-one style, but also like that they dry quickly (we live in a south facing unit and can't dry on the balcony, so it's hanging racks in the bedrooms)
wondering what other pocket nappies there are that other users like, as i might get a few different brands to start with then ask mum to buy whichever works best for our bub. thanks |

BumGenius are good, cheaper from states.
I highly recommend Bonnibuns though, you can get the workhorse ones for $14each on sale, it's just one simple snap in. |

Babybeehinds, hands down.
I also LOVE Bambootys easy dry as they have 2 flaps which fold out to dry faster, no stuffing pockets or anything with those. Bambooty's are sized but the BBH are OSFM(but bulkier under clothes when the baby is smaller). Oh I have one Bonnibun, it's pretty good too. |

I like the BBHs, but also like my set of China-cheapie My Little Ripples (the inserts dry really quickly because they're microfibre)

I love sugar shots pockets also Genesa forge and Cherubs kisses do great pockets. I've only hear bad things about pea pods, cheap but poor quality. BBH magicalls are good too.

thanks for those suggestions, hadn't heard of some of the brands, so will have a look for them.
next q - any one had any experience with using MCNs when you can't guarantee drying in the sun? does the lack of sunny germ / smell / stain removing goodness make a difference? |

My nappies rarely get sun in the winter as I am never organised enough to get them outside when the sun is out and back in before it rains. So in winter they just hang on the airer inside, they do take longer to dry and the stains don't sun out but they are still clean and fresh so it's not really a problem. I found th etrick to keeping smell at bay was giving them a really good long wash.

Green Kids are the best pocket nappies for sure.
I'm not sure I would use Pea Pods if they were given to me. |
