Race 5 at Flemington - Black Caviar the unbackable favorite so I was wondering if it is worth boxing a trifecta of the whole field (7 horses, $210 for a $1 stake)?
Assume Black Caviar wins, paying $1.03, could you even get the $210 back if the 2nd and 3rd favorites run in (paying $41 on the nose but less in the box for some reason)? I don't understand - I obviously just want to make money! Thanks. |

I don't understand any of it but I do know that DF won over $200 today from about $30 worth of bets.
He backed a horse who was paying something like $50 for a place and other horses who were paying around $12 for a place. He bets small but on high paying horses. |
