Just wondering if anyone has had any experience in printing out text messages from an Iphone, or transferring them to a PC. I did google and found a few pieces of software that could be downloaded to do this, but am always a bit dubious about downloading free stuff.

Anyone have any recommendations>

Not 100% sure but could you take a screen shot of the message and email the pic to yourself. My son managed to take a screenshot which saved as a picture.

To screenshot on an iPhone, press the home button and the sleep/wake button at the same time. The picture will save in the camera roll, you can then email it or text message it, or even upload it to Facebook. original.gif

I dont have an iphone but google came up with this:

If its evidence for court you will need to have the screenshot or printed message signed by a jp with the phone evidence as well.

Press edit, then the buttons to select the messages you want to print (I think you can do 50 at a time). It then gives you an option to email them to an address then you can print from there.

Thanks everyone for your responses, really helpful. The screenshot suggestion worked, but was going to be very time consuming. BobLobLaw, thank you, your solution was great - I did just over 500 messages ( a looong conversation that's been going on for months) in one go! Thank you very much!
