QUOTE (ntwitchen @ 31/10/2011, 07:26 PM) *
I am really worried. I have lost 2 kg since I got pregnant and I am constantly sick. I haven't gained any weight and I can't keep anything down. When I am not at work I am asleep in bed. When I try to go for walks I always throw up afterwards. I used to exercise 3 times a week at least and now the thought of walking to the bus stop makes me puffed. My husband has started driving me to the train station as I have fainted on the way to work twice already.
I'm really not enjoying being pregnant - is anyone else the same?

I've been really sick. Had to quit my job, then my DP left me. It's been a very rough time.

So far I've lost about 6kg; which makes me just very slightly underweight. I hope to start putting some on soon.

Where is everyone at with weight gain. Just curious. I only gained 7 kgs with DS and this time at 26 weeks I have put on 5. So can see myself putting on a bit more this time round.

I'm not sure what weight I was when I fell pregnant because I was on medication from January to BFP that made me stack on weight sad.gif The first time I hopped on the scales properly was at my 12 week appointment, and I've put on 3 kilos since then (27 weeks now). I'm guestimating I put on 5 kilos in the first trimester since I was on the fat-meds for 7 weeks of it, and lived on carbs for the following month! It wasn't a healthy time, lol.

So that would mean about 8 kilos at 27 weeks. I've got terrible water retention with pitting oedema up to my knees, so hopefully some of the weight is water and not fat! My tummy has grown a lot in the last two weeks even though my weight stayed stable, so I don't really understand what's happening.

I'm really hoping not to gain too much extra in the last trimester. If I could keep it to 12 kilos all up I'd be thrilled. I should probably start exercising a bit more.

I am 30 weeks this week and have gained 9kg.. I put on a total of 9 with my first and 12 with my second, though each pregancy is different, though with 10 weeks to go I am hoping to keep my weight to about 12-13kg max. Fingers crossed.. though I sort of know I have been a bit relaxed this time around, I think because I know it is my last preg I have tried to enjoy it and not worry.. I think there are about 3 different types of icecream in my freezer at the moment!

I think this looks very common that you can't put on in your first trimester.. I am in third trimester , almost standing at 34th week and have put on 11 kg. I was bit worried until my last week's scan, as my belly doesn't show up enough. But Scan suggests that my baby is healthy with approx. 2.3 kg.. So it does not matter how much you gain, but making sure on your healthy diet..
