Hi everyone again,

still waiting for a BFP this month, but thinking that i probably am going to need to lose weight first - ive heard that being overweight can decrease your chances of getting pregnant. I weigh almost the same as i did when i got pregnant last time, but that was more than 6 years ago!
Anyone else had this problem?!

Thanks for the welcome guys original.gif .

We're booked in to go and see Mr Ravi Asopa on Thursday to start the process but we also have a referral to Andrew Troy if we don't click with Mr Asopa.

February seems so close now, can't wait!!

Hello all

cariwiri when can you test? fingers crossed for a bfp for you

yes I can relate with needing/wanting to lose weight - I would like to lose 5 - 10 kgs but can't seem to get motivated or stay consistent with my diet and exercise
I can be good for a week and then fall off the wagon again
my FS said there is benefit in losing even just a little ... something about if you're body is in losing weight mode then that's good I think?

mrshoney I hope your appt goes well on Thurs

anyone else with any news??

charbig I'd love to hear how you and your DH are getting on after your re-do?? as we are seriously considering this option for next year
cheers

Hey Ladies,

Havent posted in here for a while, so just thought I would give my experience to the new ladies / ladies I havent come across yet. We got out VR done by Dr Woolcott on the 3rd of September 2011... BFP on the 29th ish of September 2011 (we were naughty and started DTD 10 days post VR). So extremely sucessful!!! I definently recommend him, he was fantastic!

Hi, I have been following your thread for a while and thought I'd introduce myself. I have 2 children DD was 2 in August and DS will be 1 in a few weeks. Only 15 months between them, but they are great kids! My DH had the snip back in February '11 as I had quite a difficult pregnancy and birth with DS, and he didn't want to put me through that again. At the time we thought it was the best decision for our family but as the year has progressed I have been getting that clunky feeling back. I don't want another baby just yet but I would like to in the next few years. I am only 26 and feel I have time on my side. I have started speaking to my DH about how I'm feeling and he is being non-receptive.
I suppose I am after thoughts on how others have broached the subject with their DH's. I don't want to force him into anything, but he is totally shutting down whenever I bring up the subject.
