What are you getting your little one for their 3rd birthday?Jacks getting a big boy bed, maybe, plus a few little things I got on catch of the day. I'm really in 2 minds about the bed, i've bought it, but am so scared to mess with his good sleeping. I put him in his cot, he gives me a kiss and then lays down and goes to sleep, 99% of the time. Why would I mess with that? And risk hours of getting up, messing around not to mention falling out of bed. But anyway, the bed arrives Tuesday so we'll see. Are you having a birthday party? What sort of cake?No party this year. Jack was born on my uncles birthday and this year is his 60th, so my aunty and cousins are all going to his birthday lunch and a couple of close friends are away and it all got too hard given we've just moved. He'll get a nice day with his cousins and cake tho, mum offered to make the cake since I'm working tonight (friday) and saturday nights, so I have no idea, probably a number 3. Suzanne- Good luck with your scan next week, please make sure you come back and tell us how wonderfully it went! Me- feeling very very icky and had my first spew last night before work which is very sucky, although strangely reassuring. I've got an OB appt on the 13th and he'll do a scan and then we'll tell Hannah, I can't wait, she's going to be SO excited! And don't feel bad about the cubby, my kids got one for xmas that is still in boxes til we get some grass! Robyn-good luck with the home open, we had ours last weekend and signed the offer Monday night! So we're VERY happy with that news, especially since I get to buy a new bigger car! Leita- I've found a couple of local 3 year old kindys that I'm looking into, plus I think he's going to be going to the telethon speech and hearing for a specialised playgroup for kids with speech issues. Ok, must go, am at work and very tired and nauseous, this helps keep my mind off it!

We had our NT scan yesterday and it went brilliantly!! We get the results sometime next week but bubby had a nice strong heartbeat (163bmp) and was measuring 5 days ahead!! So we are thrilled that everything seems to be going well this time round Getting the NT measurement was a bit tricky as bub was so active doing headstands and flips and just generally going crazy bouncing around in there Could not be happier right now. So relieved. Still struggling through morning sickness even though I will be 13 weeks tomorrow and heartburn ahs well and truly set in already too, just like it did with Shae. Popping out already so should probably start to tell some family before they work it out themselves! Hoping to keep it quiet at work for another few weeks, fingers crossed I can! Tinks did you get to see you little one on the 13th? Hows the sickness going? Im still sick, I think its getting worse actually... Have you tried Jack out in the big bed? how is it going? We put a big rail (the biggest I could find) on Shae's bed so it still felt 'cot like'. Hasn't stopped her from falling out the end of the bed tho!

Oh suzanne, Im so happy to hear this, I was thinking about you this week. Yep, we saw the bean on Monday, just one ticking away nicely. Am sick, very sick. Today was brutal, barely made it out of bed but never mind. We tried jack in the bed and he failed miserably, so he's still in the cot, well try again in a few months. Ok, must go, try not to vomit.

I've been a slacker....but wanted to say congrats tinkster.... How exciting. Over the moon for you guys. Suzanne... Glad the nt scan went welll whata relief. Liam's birthday ...it went well... It was such a busy time for us. We essentially had visitors from Christmas through all of jan. so nice to just sit on the couch in feb before life becomes hectic again in march April. I felt like a pov mum for his birthday... I remember like a week before that it was actually coming up. In the end he got a bike (which I don't think he has ridden) and a boggle board for the ocean (which he loves). I am still loving Melbourne. We are meant to be heading back to Canberra August. We are crossing everything thT we can stay for Christmas but just thinking abut leaving is depressing. We have looked to by in Melbourne but in reality we just can't afford it... Well can't afford where we want to live... . Anyway, sorry to have been sucha slacker in the posting front. I swear to lift my game! Love you guys

Another one that hasn't been on here in a loooong time My old user name was kalebbub. Congratulations to whitelily, tinkster & julybaby on your BFP's Congratulations Leita on the arrival of Lucas, he sounds like he is thriving! Summerbub I have everything crossed that you sell your place and get your dream home AFM Kaleb is such a joy and growing up too quickly. We got him a bike for his birthday and he loves it, zooming around the house a hundred miles an hour! He started 3 yr old kindy which he also LOVES and was so ready to go. Kaleb is fully TT, he just decided one day to use the toilet and never looked back that includes over night too so I never actually toilet trained as such bless him. We welcomed another little boy Toby into the world on the 17th feb, he is 7 weeks old and just gorgeous Kaleb has taken to the roll of big brother like a pro and is wonderful with his little brother. Very happy to see everyone is doing well

Megan CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of Aiden!!! That is such wonderful news. So thrilled for you. Kalebub (sorry I'm still calling you that ) CONGRATULATIONS to you on the birth of Toby! I hope you guys don't make me clucky!! Haha no I do have a very strong feeling that I'm done! Leita, holy heck @ Lukey being 9kg!! wowzers you must have some super juices flowing there! Suzanne that is such brilliant news about your scan. I don't know how you do it not finding out the sex - I am terrible with surprises! haha. I hope you are feeling well, and I'd love to see a belly shot if you are happy to share Jen, that's so sad that you are leaving the place you love I hope you get settled back into Canberra in no time. If not, you should come to NQ. Teresa, I hope your pregnancy is progressing well - have you had your anatomy scan yet? Did you find out the sex / will you be? AFMIt's been a really sh*t time actually. Had Harriet in hospital for the last 5 days with asthma and a chest infection. Finally brought her home this evening even though she isn't great. Noah had an operation 3 weeks ago (at the same hospital) to get his tonsils and adenoids removed and grommets put in, which he has coped extremely well with. He and Harriet are two peas in a pod, honestly they are best friends which is just beautiful Big news, we are moving to Townsville - I start work on June 4! Holy cow. Haven't told anyone yet so please don't fb it just yet. Yay Mother's Day is coming up! Byeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Megan CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of Aiden!!! Content CONGRATULATIONS to you on the birth of Toby! Robyn how is Harriet doing now? Hope she is all better and stays that way! poor thing, asthma in the little ones sucks. Leita how is Lukey sleeping? Hope he is doing some great overnight stretches now AFM Bit rubbish here atm, Shae has pneumonia (again) - kid cant seem to catch a break. Its not even winter yet and she is already struggling. She is on the mend now (finally) but we are back to the Dr tonight to get another check up done to make sure her chest is clearing. 28 weeks today and bubby is doing well. Doesn't stop moving and gets itself into the most awkward spots (ouch!) forgot about how much it can hurt sometimes! Did the GD test and haven't heard anything so assume I passed And have my hospital booking in appointment next week. Pretty much got everything sorted for bub, well sorted enough Will take a belly pic tonight and pop in next week and post it
