Olivia Caroline George arrived this morning at 11:07 via CS. Weight 3.415kg. wub.gif

Everything went really well. We had skin to skin while I was being stitched up and in recovery. She BF for about an hour and our skin to skin was uninterupted for about 5 hours!!! Absolutely wonderful. They dropped thr curtain do I could see her as she was lifted out. All the staff were fantastic. Feeling really good. Amazing what a different experience it is when you haven't been in labour for days with no sleep. I get to enjoy her from the very beginning.

Kate-ko, how are you going?

Hi everyone! Sorry for the lateness of this post - just got home from hospital yesterday!

Elijah John was born Sunday 30th October 2011 at 3.32am via emergency C-section! Will write a proper post about everything that happened but we are all well and finally at home so can start to relax a bit more!

A quick congratulations to all our other babies born - will write better soon!

Rach!

Rach - congratulations on the birth of Elijah! What a cool name!

plg - I love the name you have chosen for your little girl! DH's best friend has an Olivia and she is divine, plus my middle name is Caroline so naturally I love that choice!

We had some newborn pics done last week - here is a bit of a sneak peek!
