Welcome to our TTC#1 buddy group!
We are a group of friendly ladies who are trying to conceive our first babies.
We are here to give each other support,

If you are also on the same journey as us,
please feel free to join our group,
just jump in and introduce yourself.

Please PM me as to where you are in your cycle and I will add you to the list

Thread question - any ideas???

Katie, I tried to PM but it didn't work.

I am not sure where I fit in the list, AF is due tomorrow and unfortunately I am fairly certain she is coming - PMS, cramps and all my usual AF symptoms. I did a test this morning and it was negative.

Hi All,
Firstly BIG congrats to beachbabe - that is so crazily exciting and I wish you all the very best for the coming months. I can only IMAGINE how you must feel!!!

To everyone else - hi! Just thought I'd check in again as I am still waiting on AF - yep 2 days late! But as said yesterday, have promised myself to wait til Saturday to test a) to be truly sure that AF isn't just late and b) to avoid another BFN (if I can!)

pennyforurthoughts - I honestly don't know how I'm waiting til Sat - trust me. I'm as impatient as the next person, but I really 'feel' this could be it and want it to be true and I couldn't stand another BFN (have already had 4 this cycle...admittedly all tested before AF was even late, but hey, a negative is a negative....so yeah, going to try and stick this one out in hope that it's a beautiful BFP! Wish me luck - I could easily be swayed to test before then haha

Anyway, clinging to the hope here and will keep you all updated. original.gif

Here's a little discussion point/question for everyone...is there a certain month you would like to have a baby in / or a month you'd like to avoid? Sounds crazy, I know, we all just wait to conceive, right? But here's one little thing - my and DH's families combined has a crazy 20 birthday's in September alone!!!! That includes my birthday, DH's birthday and our wedding anniversary! Not to mention, sister's, niece's, cousin's etc - all direct family I should add - who are all born in September too!!! So although I just want a healthy baby regardless..not in September would be preferable ;-) haha Anyone else as mad as us in this thought? ;-)

Baby dust to you all!

Thanks Katie. The only change I didn't get to make before the thread closed was to change Beachbabe7 to the BFP list.

And also... you need to add me to the BFP list as well.

I tested this morning and BFP.gif

I haven't had it confirmed by the doctor yet though, so might hang around for a few more days for reassurance. I'm a bit nervous! But I went to the doctor today and was relieved that I did - the news that I got last Thursday isn't as worrying as I thought it was. I get blood test results back soon.

Yay a big congrats to Beachbabe and Cacti!!! Wow so much excitement in one day. So thrilled for you girls. Lets hope it's the start of a big run of BFP's (including me in approx 30 days time!! Since starting with this forum I have been waiting in anticipation for someone to get a BFP and ended up having to read other pages to get that fix so I'm now so thrilled that not only one but two people have got that today. So excited and hoping that you both have a smooth 8 months ahead of you. So that's why you wanted to give up the list hey Cacti??

Mummy2012 I can't believe how crazy a month September is for you. Can understand why you'd prefer not to have a September baby. Don't think there's any particular times I'd rather not have bubs other than the usual not on Xmas, bdays, anniversaries etc. If I get pregnant this time I'd be due on July 31st so that works pretty well for me. Only sucky part would be hiding the fact of being pregnant over Xmas/New Years from anyone that we weren't ready to tell as yet. Had originally hoped I'd get pregnant first go just to avoid that issues. But hey I'd rather have that issue than have to wait until next year to get pregnant if we were that lucky.

AFM not much other than AF trying to start today which is spot on with my P and O tracker I have on my phone. Bring on BD when hubby gets home!!

Hi Ladies,
Can I please join you?
My Husband ( have to get used to that word hehe) got married on the 8th of October. On our honeymooon he asked me when would I like to try for babies ( which took me by surprise) so I said straight away of course. We have been together for nearly 6 years, I am 33 he is 35. I know I need to do somethings to give us the best chance at a BFP so I have started walking to lose weight, I have also started on Swisse Pregnancy multivitamins. I am soon to cut down/out on caffeine and sweets.
Do you lovely ladies have any other advise on things I should do now to better prepare myself? Other vitamins or Dr's tests?

I am so excited that we are trying to start a family. I know it may take a while and I am ok with that I don't expect it to happen the first month.

I want to wish you all the best in your TTC journey and I look forward to getting to know you all better.

Jodie
