Congratulations Lotusflower on the birth of Milla. Great to hear things started naturally for you. Hope you are enjoying newborn cuddles. wub.gif

Ards, you can have cuddles with James whenever you want. Unfortunately I don't think we could live much further apart... hope your scan went well.

Massive congratulations Lotus, Milla is a lovely name original.gif I hope you are resting and recovering well.

Mickey, James is just adorable! Can't believe he's four months though - time really is choofing by!

Luci, fudge sounds yum! I'm trying hard to lose that link to the recipe! Hope Lauchlan is doing well?

Kitty, how are you hun? Hoping those boys are settled and being the angels they resemble!

Bree, how's Toby?

AFM: Had our follow up paediatrician appt yesterday (needed a check up after special care) and am happy to report he says she's perfect original.gif Although, she's put on more weight - up another 300g in a week to 3.65kg! He was amazed at how much she's grown (1.1kg since leaving hospital 3weeks ago)! Of course, 300g/week is a trend I hope will slow down soon or she'll be a budda baby LOL!

Anyway, her belly seems a little better - paed recommended pushing her feeds out longer (to 3hrs - she's been 2hrly for the last week) to help her gas issues and I have to say, it's working! She's been much happier in her tummy. It's kinda tricky though as all my reading says demand feed - makes it hard to know what to do!

Anyway, hope you are all well - I'd better run as I have a friend flying in today to visit Taylor original.gif

Lotusflower, - huge congrats to you for the birth of lovely Milla. I love Italian girls names. I think it means thousand. So I'm sure she will be giving you thousands of hugs.

Ards, - glad to hear your scan went well. I'll check out you blog later.

Mickey, - Gorgous picci of James. He is chubbing up a little isn't he.

First one, - talking about chub. Wow a kilo in 3weeks is huge. Well done little Taylor. We did 140gms last week, back 1% to the 12th. Ho hum. He should have some of this fudge, I think I've put on a kilo in 3 weeks.

Kitty, Bree, - we miss you original.gif

AFM, - our mums group have decided to meet up on Tuesday's. The first one is at one of the mums house. So should be good. Better go and put bub to bed, he's asleep in my lap. Aaww, he's so cute.

Ciao, Luci...

Hi ladies!

Sorry I've been so absent, but it's been so hard to find enough hours in the day to post!

Ards - glad the scan went well original.gif

Lotus - congrats! Love the name wub.gif

Luci - love it when the bubs fall asleep on you! Can't beat baby snuggles

Mickey - glad to hear you and James are going well - he certainly is a cutie!

Kitty - how are you're gorgeous boys?

AFM - Toby is doing really well, he's 12 weeks tomorrow and growing like a weed - currently sitting at about the 40th percentile. He had a dose of gastro a last week which was a bit scary as he didn't want to feed - was very close to being admitted to hospital. We got our first giggle last weekend - luckily I was filming at the time, he's so cute!!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend, I'll pop back in next time I'm on the computer and share a pic.

Bree x

LOL Luci, not a kilo in a week - a kilo in three weeks!

Hi everyone,

Quick question, please tell me that this "don't you dare even think of putting me down or I'll scream the roof down" stage ends? She's 5 weeks tomorrow - that's about right isn't it? I'm sure I've read somewhere they get horrible for a week or two around this age then come back to being delightful again??!!

I'm so tired - couldn't put her down last night at all. Tried and ended up with her crying for an hour *sigh* Poor baby.

First One, I think 5 weeks was about the time James had his growth spurt. He wanted to be with me and feed pretty much constantly. I pretty much wrote off a few days as I couldn't do anything, including housework. In general he started to settle better and become easier between about 6 weeks and 2 months so hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel for you. In the meantime take it easy and make sure you look after yourself too.

Bree, happy 12 weeks to Toby and yay for a giggle (even better that you caught it on film). Sorry to hear about the gastro - hopefully he's well and truly over it now.

Luci, yep - James is getting a little chubbier. Will be interesting to see what his measurements are next week at the docs. We are probably heading up your way in a few weeks. Would be great to catch up and meet Lachlan.

Lotusflower, hope you and Milla are travelling along well.

Ards, great news about your scan. biggrin.gif

waves.gif Kitty. Two days till our boys will be 4 months huh.gif . Hope Ethan and Zach are going well.

Well things are going quite well here though I think teething might be kicking in soon. Apparently I was an early teether and we had a good look last night and can see a few white lumps along his bottom gumline. That combined with drbbling quite a bit and the obsession he's developed with sticking his hands and fingers in his mouth I certainly wouldn't be surprised if we saw teeth soon. 4 month immunisations at the doc next Tuesday so that should be fun, not!

Hi Girls,

First One, - Yep, Lachlan went though that as-well. For about a week at the 4 - 5 week mark. He was doing my head in. One theory is that its a wonder week where there is a lot of mental growth as well as physical growth. Hang in there, I hope she settles down soon for you.

Mickey, - Would love to catch up and let the little guys meet. We'll be looking forward to it. Four months for James already. Happy birthday. I hope the whole teething process goes reasonably smoothly, I don't think we are too far away from that either.

How is James' cradle cap going? Lachlan has a bit of dandruff, he keeps scratching his little head. I'm going to put a little coconut oil on it before his bath this arvo to see if that helps.

Kitty, - Happy birthday to Ethan and Zach aswell. Hope you all are doing well.

Bree, - Gastro is scary stuff. You hear about how quickly babies can dehydrate. Glad he is over it now. Aren't first giggles gorgeous, I never get sick of hearing them. wub.gif It's so great that you got it on vdo.

Ards, - I had a look at your blog. I love your tree decal. I love the idea of decals, we have Caseys ABC Linen/decals.

Lotusflower, - I hope you and Milla are getting some sleep. Cant wait to see a photo of your lovely little girl one day when you get a few minutes to scratch yourself.

AFM, - We are well. Woke a couple of times last night. But when we woke this morning I found out why he had been a bit unsettled through the night. He had done 2 days worth of super poop, that managed to get past his nappy, his suit, wrap me up, sheet, and thank goodness only got to, but not through the mattress protector. Would not have fancied washing that aswell this morning. LOL.

Hope everyone has a great day. cool.gif

Cheers, Luci...

Luci, James' cradle cap is all gone now. We did the olive oil before bed for a few nights then during the day I would brush his head with a soft toothbrush while I was feeding him. Will do the same if it flares up again.

Happy 4 months Ethan and Zachary! ddance.gif Hope you're being good for your mum.

Hi ladies,
Sorry I have been MIA lately. The days just seem to fly by........
DH has been home with me which has been lovely but he is back to work late next week. I wish it could last forever as we have had such a lovely time.

Our little girl is fantastic and doing really well. She is feeding every 3 hours and settles back to sleep straight away, making things very easy for me and making it possible to sleep.

Hope u r all well and your bubbies are great.
Lots a luv
