I'm back...

Bree and Kitty, - how are those gorgeous boys of yours? Would love to hear that they're thriving.

Lotus flower, - how are you coping with the pointy end of pregnancy? I remember how uncomfortable I was, and I only got to 38 weeks.

Ards, - YEY, for half cooked. Enjoy this stage of pregnancy, it's so lovely. (for me it was anyway).

First one, - Im just listening to Brahms lullaby, as Ive just put Lachie down for his morning nap, and I remember how much I used to just about ball my eyes out when listening to this in his first 6 weeks, - LOL... As well as sleep deprivation, I think hormones are going ballistic at this time as-well.

Mickey, Kitty, - have you had any hint of teeth yet? Lachie has a few white-ish bumps on his lower jaw, and everything is now getting chewed on. I'm wondering if teething is going to be happening sooner rather than later.

Well, we have gotten over our whooping cough scare unscaved, except for some diarrhea and an upset tummy some nights, from the antibiotics sad.gif . We gave/are giving him some probiotics (babybiotics) to try to bring back the balance.
We went to mothers group on Monday to find that our huge group had dwindled down to about 8, due to the scare. But no-one else in the group came down with it, and the child health nurse told us that the little baby that had it, came out of hospital within a few days, and is recovering well, so that is good news. The ladies that did turn up all seem nice, so I hope that our group will be as successful as your group Mickey. Maybe I should try my hand at fudge for our morning tea on Monday wink.gif . I'll look up some recipes today.

Hope to see a few more of the girls in here soon. I'd love for a few girls from my DIG to join us too, if you are ph34r.gif ...

Have a great day girls. Luci...

Luci, I made this one and it tasted great.

Glad to hear all is good after your whooping cough scare. 8 is probably a good number - I think too many and it could get cliquey.

ETA, 8 for your mums group that is...

Luci, my tips - 1) I only made a half quantity and it still made heaps, and 2) don't wait the 2 mins to put the chocolate in - you need to get in the bowl, mixed through and in the pan fast.

Hi girls. Gee, we are quiet in here. I hope we are all well...

Mickey, - I made the fudge last night. It turned out great, and I put the chocolate in straight away like you suggested. ABA had a baby's day out down at the Esplinade that we went to this morning. I took some of the fudge, and it got eaten up straight away, which was good because i made the full amount. I put it on top of an Oreo biscuit base, so it had the two layers. I have plenty left for mothers group tomorrow, and for the freezer. Thanks again for the recipe.

Ards, - Good luck for your scan tomorrow. I hope all is well, and you get lots of lovely pics.

Hi everyone - Monday again... (I love the weekends because we get to spend more time together as a family and I get to have a nap whenever I want to).

Luci, glad to hear the fudge was a hit. Interesting twist with the Oreo base. I mentioned it to DH and his eyes glazed over just thinking about the sugar hit. I sent him to work with more fudge today.

Ards, good luck for your scan today. Don't forget to pop in and let us know how you get on.

First One, I think it was you that asked the other day about teeth - no sign of any yet from James. I don't mind if they're still a few months away as I'm enjoying the good sleeps at the moment. Hope Taylor is still going well. Happy 1 month to her for tomorrow.

Bree and Kitty, hope your boys are going well.

Lotusflower, any sign of your little girl yet??

Well, not really any news here. Just plodding along - a little bit of cradle cap and eczema but otherwise all is good. Four months in less than a week meaning a trip to the GP for more immunisations early next week. I'm making DH come with me to that one. We have started front to back rolling though he sometimes needs some help from me to get started and gets tired quite quickly. It's quite funny watching him use his head to get over.

A recent pic for anyone who is interested...
