Hi

I haven't checked in for a very long time.

I am now 25 weeks and found out it is a boy original.gif (will be a tally of 3 girls and 2 boys)

Just a quick question but has anyone had issues with an unstable pelvis??? I am only starting with period pain in my back and stomach and the obs has said it was an unstable pelvis. I just find it werid as I have never had any issues with my previous pregnancies.

I also have added that I can''t stand on the spot for longer than 5 mins witout passing out or almost passing out unsure.gif

I should update that I am in Brisbane, having bubs at Mater Mothers public, still deciding on what type of birth I am going to have

# 1 & 2 were VB's
#3 was emergency c/section under general due to cord prolapse
#4 was planned c/section

I have looked at the reserach and happy with trying for a VB2C but my only concern is how DH will cope. He did not fare too well with DD#2's birth (cord prolapse) and is freaking out at the thought of me going for a VBAC.

DD#1 is almost 9
DS is 7
DD#2 is almost 6
DD#3 is three

I am struggling ATM with comments on my belly size. I am only a small girl, 160cm, size 8 normally and my babies have been big (largest at 8pd 14, 10 days early!).
Are you begger with this pregnancy then you were with your previous ones?
I do hope to be mroe active in here, now and for after the birth!?!?

Hi all and congrats to everyone original.gif i am new to this forum. i have just given birth to my 6th child 3 weeks ago today original.gif i have 4 girls and 2 boys aged 7, almost 6, almost 5, almost 4, 2 and 3 weeks. the older 4 are my girls and the youngest 2 are my boys. hubby and i have both said that we would stop with #6 and have had pressure from outsiders and other family members to not have any more since our 2nd daughter was born but obviously we haven't listened to them lol. even though we have decided 6 was our number and we have reached that number i am having doubts and not sure if i want to stop now wacko.gif i have a consultation booked for 4 weeks time to get my tubes tied but there is this huge part of me that wants to cancel the appointment and i have told hubby that i don't want him to go to his either and have told him that we should go talk to someone first that way we don't do something that we may regret later down the track. sure we have our hard days being such a big family and all the kids are so very young still but i wouldn't change having them for anything in the whole wide world. they are my life and i love them all to bits biggrin.gif

I'd like to join too - I'm pregnant with number 4 of 6 pregnancies. Very early days yet but already getting nervous. I'd like a VBA2C and had a run in with the GP over it today so I've been feeling a bit fragile. I have a DD5, DD4 and DS3 who are both challenging and amazing amounts of fun!

I was actually going to ask a question I'm sure you've all heard before. How did you break the news to friends and family and was it poorly received? I am extremely worried about telling my family and friends as we didn't get very pleasant responses when number 3 was announced. I know it shouldn't bother me but it does. I just don't want any negativity or anxiety this time. My parents are going to be shockers and I know it. They're still harping about me having any kids! Not at all normal I'm fully aware of that but they are who they are. I don't expect a congrats from them at all. I'm seriously considering just not telling people but I get big quick and I'm also excited and want to be able to share my news without the haters putting in their two cents worth. Any advice really appreciated here - I'm stressing out!

GenWhy...when we announced this pregnancy...number 6....we told our mums then emailed everyone else just saying that we were delighted to announce that we were 'even-ing' up the numbers and had #6 due in September. Kept it really positive and upbeat..didnt get any negativity at all...not that was actually said to us and I don't give a monkeys what's said behind our backs!!
There will always be people who don't "get" large families...as long as you are happy that's all that matters!
Congratulations by the way biggrin.gif

Hi and welcome to the newbies!
Genwhy-I was the same as you. I knew my mum would freak and she did by bursting into tears and basically told me I was making a mistake. We really wanted to tell the kids and not let all the negative people get in first so we then let them tell everyone, it wasn't nearly as bad as the responses we got when we announced 3. There have been the usual don't you have a tv or your crazy, but in our area 4 children is normal!
Goodluck, just smile and le tthe comments roll off your back!
3.5 weeks til we find out what we are having, can't wait!

Hey there,
I would love to join too original.gif
As my user name is me he and 3 I'm telling a lie hehehe.
We already have 4 and 1/2 kiddies lol
We have a 12 yo ds (13 November)
A 10 yo dd
A 6 yo ds
A 23 month old ds
And...... I'm due December 7th with no 5. We didnt find out the sex tho but dd is hoping for a little sister and yes another girl would be nice as we are totally out numbered. But a happy healthy baby is all we can pray for.
I love my large family. My dh is one of 6 so he's use to all the busyness. I really never thought I'd have so many kids but it sure is awesome. It may be challenging at times but soooo rewarding also.
On the subject of announcements I gave my mum 5 chocolate eggs at Easter with from.....(child's name) on each and the last one said hatching December 2012. It took her a minute to clue in on it but it all went down well. And if it didn't then whatever it's our life and as long as we are happy that's all that counts biggrin.gif

Hi all

Well it's been a while since I've been in here! I am thrilled to announce that we have a new family member, Annabelle Elizabeth (aka Annie) arrived safely into the world on the 20th of August 2012 at 10.24am weighing 2.9kg.
She is absolutely gorgeous and has 6 siblings that adore her! We are settling in with Annie and I am slowly recovering from the c/section (aches and pains).
I will endevour to put up a pic in the next day or so when Annie is sleeping!
Now I'm out of here, I wanted to wish all the preggy mummy's all the best with baking your babies.
