I pretty much went through the exact same thing as you did with damage from my first c/section. Since then I've never fallen pregnant naturally (11 years). IVF was the only option for us.

Good luck x

Can you write a letter to your Victorian surgeon asking him/her to recommend someone in NSW? Then, ask your new GP to refer you to that NSW surgeon? Then, write again to your Victorian surgeon, asking them to write a letter about you to your new NSW surgeon?

I hope you ladies post when people are considering elective c/sections for non medical reasons. I have been told I am scaremongering when I have brought up fertility issues as a reason to avoid a c/s if possible.

I hope you get your dream soon op.

You can ask for your Vic medical records to be forwarded on to your new GP, who in turn can send them to the new specialist you are referred to. I also moved recently and my new GP had a consent form that I signed and they arranged to have my records sent over. It took 3 weeks but was well worth it. The new specialist still did the usual tests, plus some more, but they had the full history which can only be a good thing. Good luck with your new doctors and TTC!
