I was pooky until my teenage years when he switched to bulldog (I had volatile mood swings lol)

My old man called me everything under the sun but my real name Likewise. I reckon mine doesn't even know my real name... Kiddo was a common one, but we were squiddley and diddley, I'm still Squid now we're grown up. My cousins got heckle and jeckle, so could be worse. |

i was called 'poppin' by my Dad due to my love of mary poppins as a toddler.
still get called this every now and then, takes me back My brother was always called 'tiger' by my Grandfather as well, my best friend is still called 'dot' or 'dottie' by her dad, my cousin (female) is still 'bear' to her dad, none of the nicknames have anything to do with our real names. |

My Dad calls me 'Mellsie' - I had many other family nicknames but he was the only one who used that.
He is suffering from dementia now and it ripped my heart in two to hear him cry "Mellsie, Mellsie.... I'm frightened!" |

My DH calls our DD pooh, little pooh or sometimes pooh
Bum. I call her pooh or bubba. My dad calls me worm, wormo or wormy. I used to wriggle allot and hate keeping still :-) My sister is monkey, monk or monko she liked to climb. |
