I am still here and alive, although only just!!

Have had a pretty nasty virus and spent most of last week in bed delirious OR at the hospital with/looking after Leah as she had to have a minor op on her eye at the RCH. Being sick had come on over a couple of weeks and I just ignored it instead of taking it easy, which only exacerbated the problem. I am on antibiotics and have managed to avoid fetal monitoring (hosp stay) which is good.

ChantelM- Poor Axel with his bad dream. I hope he wasnt too unsettled for any other nights. We categorise Leah's night cries as "making noise for the hell of it" (leave her there), "just woken up cry" (wait and see) and "scary cry" (go pick her up cause she aint going back to sleep!).

runnybabbit- Mmmm, cheesecake. Baking it in your knickers sounds like a good idea too- i love those let it all hang out days! Good idea about FB, i will find and befriend you. I am on there much more than EB these days, my DIG is on there too.
Yay for the no more morning sickness and boo for the scratching. I use vit E on my lower legs, then bio oil on my tummy/back each morning and palmers cocoa butter on my tummy/back each night. I figure i need all the help i can get to stave off the stretchies and itchies!!

Brownbear- How is Toby;s sleeping going. You would figure that with all that running it would wear him out, not the other way round!!!

Enharmonic- CONGRATULATIONS on the pregnancy and for a sticky one. My bday is 10th March so he/she is going to be such a clever and good looking baby! biggrin.gif

AFM- Leah is walking!! Just like Nathan, it is the 3 step then launch between parents walk, but it is a walk nonetheless. I think all her energy is going into being the biggest chatterbox on the planet! She tries to say everything we do now (with varying degrees of success) so we have to make sure we curb the swear words. The other day we could have sworn she said "I want it" when i took something off her but she hasnt repeated it so not sure. She calls our dog Indy "Ninnee", which is just about the cutest thing ever!

She is going great guns at childcare and her little blip on the underweight radar seems to have been just that as she put on 1kg in 3 months. Still at the lower end of the percentile scale but has improved which is a relief.

Tomorrow I will hit 23 weeks preggers with the twins and all seems to be going well. I have trouble at nights carrying Leah which is to be expected but Daddy-Pig is really good at helping out so I am lucky in that instance.

And we are having a bbluestork.gif and a ppinkstork.gif !!!! Very excited to give Daddy-Pig a boy seeing as I am going to put a permanent bollard between my legs once these little tackers are born!

Anyhoo, looking forward to seeing some of you on FB.

xo

Oh dear, and I thought Chinese names were reasonably unique. My piccie is me and hubs with Nathan as a newborn, but I'm not sure if strangers can see it! I might change my privacy settings for a bit. wink.gif

Hey everyone!
Wow so much is happening in this group and in life, it gets so hard to catch up!
I'd definately be interested in joining a FB group!

So much has happened I have no idea what I said when I last wrote..
The twins are now walking confidentely and are starting to master climbing stairs (under supervision of course). They love being outside and finding mud and sticks to play in. Truth be told I've just started giving up when we go outside... they are going to get dirty no matter what I do lol.

Theo and Eb are both getting their canines at the moment, and I'm fairly certain that Theo also has 2 of his molars about to break through, so they have been a little tiresome. They make up for it later though when they just look at me and laugh/smile and try to share their food with me.

Speaking of food, does anyone elses bubs tend to eat a lot? My guys eat around (for example) 1 sausage, 1 large piece of broccoli, half a carrot and a couple of slice of cucumber in 1 setting. They are both now weighing in at a whopping 12.5kg! I probably only say whopping cause they get so darned heavy when they want to be held, I can barley hold both of them on my hips anymore, lol.

runnybabbit and gisses So glad to hear that your pregnancies are going well. Super big congrats to you gisses for the boy and the girl! You only really need to get clothing for one baby now. Tounge1.gif Got any names yet that you are keen to share? (I love baby names, sorry)
purple_daisy How is your weight loss journey going?
Eharmonic I am super happy for you, congratulations and I hope that this pregnancy is super sticky for you! <3

Sorry if I missed anyone for the personals, but hopefully I will chat to you on FB soon lol
Love to all the not so little ones!

J.E.T.E - Axel's food intake varies from day to day. At daycare he has breakfast which is usually 1-2 slices of toast. Fruit & milk for morning tea. Lunch he will have anywhere from 1-4 servings! Afternoon tea and then dinner at home. Sometimes he won't eat much at all for dinner. Other times he eats plenty. Followed by a bottle after tea. Axel is weighing in at about 12kgs.

Chantel I think I've added you as a friend. original.gif Nathan's food intake also varies wildly from day to day. We give him bottles overnight as it helps greatly with his settling. Some nights he'll have three bottles (!) but still eat a lot the following day, the very rare times he sleeps through he picks at his breakfast. So go figure!
