Argh, so much news from everybody. I am trying to read through it all, so won't do many personals.

Meerkat wow, you handled that so calmly, so glad it is ok.

Mummygirl it sounds like you have the most wonderful inlaws, that sounds wonderful.

I would like to join the Facebook Group, so carrie is the one to PM?

Not a lot happening with me, I have a couple of big projects so have been working working working around the clock. I still have barely felt more than a flutter, and even that could still be wind, still so impatient for those first movements. I still haven't been able to see my ill mum as this stupid cold has carried on for more than 2 weeks, but I might see her on the weekend because surely I am not contagious now.

That is about all from me. My brain is a bit mush, but I think that is more from tiredness and work. You know I couldn't remember which baby site I had chosen to join the forum on? Gotta laugh at myself!

x Linda.

Definitely not leaving this group, just wanting to do both Facebook and here. original.gif

Carrie your bump is cute! I love love love the name Isla! Reminds me of Isla Fisher who has the most gorgeous hair in the whole world. Such a pretty name.

I think we will get people telling us our name is really boring. He will be Joshua Michael, which I picked at least 10-15 years ago before I even met DH. Our surname is super boring, but I don't care. We've been calling our 'son' Josh for the past decade, so he was Josh before he was even conceived. Nothing else would feel like his name now.

Nothing porker about you Carrie! You're gorgeous! yyes.gif

Would you believe after my waffle above, Finn woke at 9am and I whipped straight the dr for asthma!! Far out. Though I do wonder as I had a humidifier going in his room all night and I did feel when Henry was younger and we used it that it helped croup but resulted in asthma. Cold damp air!? Blah, it's so scary having asthma babies...it makes it hard to go anywhere, we're obsessed with having excellent medical care on holiday.

Waffle waffle sorry girls! Ok, off to take a morning belly pic original.gif

xx

edited to add - Peebs - sooo envious that you can say he is kicking you!! He!!!

Tash - poor Finn! Hope he is feeling better soon! And you made me blush! Not feeling to special looking currently! wink.gif

Linda - my brain has been mush since Josh was born 9 years ago. It gets increasingly worse with each pregnancy and baby. Sigh. I don't think I will ever regain those lost brain cells. Looks like my plans of being a rocket scientist are out the window grin.gif

Manda - I love Josh. It's a nice, strong name for a little boy and also great for a man. My Josh is Joshua Bailey. My surname is boring but hyphenated as well, so Josh goes quite well with it. Nothing boring about it! Besides, means we both have the same great taste laugh.gif

ETA - My scan is on Tuesday...I am super worried they are going to say "it's a boy"!!! Not that I won't love it if it is, it's just that this is the baby I though I was not going to have. Before I fell pregnant, I dreamt constantly (12mths or more) of this beautiful baby girl, and when I fell, I just knew this was her, I know that sounds weird...but I am so sure but now questioning...I want my girl so badly...on a side note, how do I convince DH on the name? My theory is, well if I have to push it out, I should name it!! LMAO

Hi All,

Im feeling a bit left out of this forum, cos I cant keep up lol. I really dont have any exciting news to add, a very uneventful pregnancy so far. Im 18 weeks, and havent felt it move, but have no idea what it feels like so who knows. (Im not worried).

Really struggling with the Syd job market, keep getting rejected, its getting me down and hard to keep applying ..sigh.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Where did everyone go? unsure.gif I got a maternity top in the post today. Only ordered it yesterday. biggrin.gif

Love the new sig Carrie! Gorgeous. How funny, I've had dreams about having a little blonde boy so maybe your dreams will end up being true as well. Not long to wait now! I love Josh too (obviously!). I think it suits from a little baby to a grown man and I love that Joshua is really strong and professional, but Josh is young and fun. I was once told my (married) name was so boring it must have been made up (my middle name is Jayne, so you piece it together!), so I figured poor Josh will get the same. laughing2.gif

Myfirstbubba - I find it hard to keep up too, except for days like today where I'm online most of the day and can pop in. Hope you have some job luck soon. It's tough out there.

Natasha - I love it! So much better than saying 'it' which DH kept saying. glare.gif We are calling him by his name now. It makes it feel much more real for us, like there is a real little human in there. Are you finding out gender at your morph scan?

Linda - Yep, PM Carrie (or me and I will link you to Carrie on FB). Only Carrie can add you to the group though.
