Yay GOLD! Would do the colours but having enough trouble using my new iPad as it is,

Quick question, we're still not sure if we will find out the sex or not, but we actually have an OB appt next Friday when I'll be 17 weeks. Do you think they will be able to tell on the little mobile ultrasound scanner at that? Or will we need to wait for the proper full 19week ultrasound on the proper equipment.

Silver? What a fluke - but helps when I am way off your time zone because you are probably all sleeping now. I have not posted for ages because work has been so busy, but I have been following along as best I can.

Will post some specific personals soon when I get a chance, but to all those having amnios I wish you best of luck with results. I know how stressful it is to be given not so perfect news. Allykittn - thinking of you xxx

Everyone fast approaching the 20 week ultrasound - very exciting. We're happy we already know the sex, but we're telling people we don't know. Have not decided if we want the world to know just yet, but everyone keeps asking. I just want one thing for myself for a change! Sick of doctors and others asking me ridiculously personal questions and looking up my skirt so this little secret is for me.

Take care everyone

Happy Friday everybody original.gif

Well I am 15 weeks today and felt the baby really move last night as did DH which is fabulous!

Had a rotten day @ work yesterday. The manager called me in and said ' When are you due again?' I told her the EDD and she sat there with her calender and counted and said to me ' I want you out of here by the 8th October because we can't take responsibility for you in the last 6 weeks...'

WTF????? I work in an office at a resort - no way would I be in danger? I was hoping to work at least up to 4 weeks before. Do I "have" to finish 6 weeks before?

Off to chat to the GM today as apparently I am not entitled to maternity leave either and they cant 'promise' there will be a job for me to return to as I am casual - even though I have been here for 3 years, doing regular and systematic hours.

I just really dont want to have this drama with work sad.gif

Anyway enough about me!

Dallas86 - Welcome back original.gif

Ally - *hugs* thinking of you and hope you get some better news soon\

Signet - is this your first pregnancy? If so you will soon learn you lose all dignity bearing and birthing children LOL

Have a great weekend everyone original.gif

Yay to everyone who has had good amino's- i think you are all very brave just surviving the wait for the results

Bond--- how disappointing about how work is handling the situation!!! It's a shame when you have worked for them for years and this is how they handle the situation.
not sure about the 6 weeks- i was pretty sure if you had a dr certificate saying you were fit for work you could stay on- but not sure where i got that info from?

Ally- think about you every day and cant wait to hear some good news.

signet- so lucky you already know- i find out on the 10th and cant wait then we will buy more stuff!

sparkley- i think there's a chance if the baby's in the right position and the ob is looking that it might be possible for the ob to tell! fingers crossed for you. If its anything like my ob though he'd leave it for the other ultrasound lol.

hi everyone else

AFM: i also feeling the baby belly though i'm sure some of it - is not just baby- damn you hot chips!.
didn't make it to gym this week but went for a walk with the dogs each afternoon- even got to take them for a walk on the beach on wednesday which was great!
Happy friday everyone

Happy Friday from California! Hope you all survived the end of the world. Apparently ours ends tomorrow ?

Notso - it is nice knowing the gender. Especially because I know I don't have to buy anything. Sorry ladies but I hate shopping, especially at baby shops. We might get things super cheap over here but there are always 1,000,000 other people doing the same thing as you at any given time so shopping is hellish.

Bond1980 - your manager is a jerk. Hope you get that sorted out. Yep, this is second bub so that is why I am soooo sick of people looking up my skirt.

Sparkley - I went in for just a regular 4 week check up today at 16.4w and they did not tell me they were doing the big morph scan - ooops - forgot to bring hubby along. Tech told me the 19-20 weeks is a load of rubbish - with the correct scan machine they can tell gender easily at 16w. It was pretty darn obvious to me today there was a short third leg. Hope your scan can tell you next week - if you want to know that is. But bear in mind this is the USA and the pre-natal care seems to be quite different. I can't follow what you are all talking about half the time. Been gone from home too long - sigh...

Due date is the same as always - Nov 1. Would be fun to have a halloween baby though because that is my favourite crazy american holiday.

Hope everyone else is doing great.

Take care
