Hi,
I feel for you i know how you feel I am 9 1/2 months pregnant with a little boy and also have a beautiful 7 year old daughter and we lost everything we own in the floods here in Victoria, I actually wrote a blog yesterday asking if any one could help as i have the baby in less than 2 weeks and still don't have a single thing for him. We are sleeping on a mattress on my mothers floor until we can afford to get our own place again and until then i haven't even been able to get my daughter or my unborn baby anything. I am still trying to get a bassinet, car seat, cot, capsule, even a set of bunks so me and my daughter don't have to sleep on the floor.
I hope you have pulled through and i wish you and your family all the best for the future.
Good luck and best wishes.
From Sharon

Hi Sharon

I would ask the nearest Vinnie down there. or call their national number 1300633343
Other wise the salvos could help or even a church group.
Where in Vic are you? Are you near a place called Pakenham?

Has there been no flood recovery centres there?
What about other charties like Red cross and life line.
Did they have any flood recovery payments that could help? Even Maybe raise it with your local member of state, as i had to go to ours for an appeal for funds.
I will make a few call for you and see what i can sort for you.
Sharon can you pm me your adress and or a ph number so i can get people to contact you if you want me to.
take care

Di
