I may grow old but I will never grow up.
(*)(*) seeing as I've missed out on the medals!

Appropriate really, my colostrum has started leaking.....

Feeling really concerned for Quix. I hope that she gets the essential advice she needs at the moment. Maybe an advocate would help while her stress levels and health are what they are.

hi all,

i haven't updated for yonks!

have just read Quix's page - didn't realise the situation - lots of love to you if you are reading this and hoping that everything works out ok. such beautiful little girls. such a stressful time for you. xxx

i have to say all good my end. i have jet lag and have been up from 4am (have been in USA for 3 weeks), my back is a bit achey if i sit for too long, and i feel like i am going to explode, but if that is the worst i can complain about then things really aren't so bad.

i have a hospital appt on tuesday + bloods and my GD test - not looking forward to that! but looking forward to hearing little baby's heart beat again. he/she is kicking like a little monster! not painful, but certainly gets my attention. it is so nice to be able to share it with my husband finally.

i have 4 assessments due for the 2 subjects i am doing this year towards my Masters and then I will be able to relax and start getting baby's room sorted. should coincide with when I start mat leave in 7 weeks - yay! hope i am not leaving it too late to get organised.

Musedemum I had no idea that milk might start leaking already - i am constantly learning new things!

i have a question which i know is prob a little silly and impossible to answer... when do your boobs each their maximum size? i don't know when i should buy maternity bras and don't want to spend a fortune on them now only to have to buy a new bacth if my boobs get even bigger. Any tips from those who have been here before?

take care all - not long now!! xx

Fibi - jet lags a winner isn't it! Boobs will usually peak about 3-4 days after birth when your milk comes in. If you're breastfeeding they will take anything from a few days to a few months to settle properly, if you aren't breastfeeding you can usually have them under control in a week or so. Mine are a C-D normally (depending wholly on fat - they should be a C when I'm at my proper weight!) and were a DD at 9 months pregnant, went to a G then gradually relaxed into a D while I breastfed DS. I was still BF when I got pregnant this time but have since stopped, I am in my two roomiest D's but the rest are too tight, it looks like they will follow a similar pattern to last time - lucky I still have all those huge bras!

Suze - I hope you're feeling better coming into the 3rd trimester?

AFM - still 2 weeks until the 3rd trimester but those annoying 3rd tri symptoms are starting early (nausea, constipation, sore back...fun!) I'm hoping the nausea it related to this cold DS gave me but the rest are probably here to stay for a few months.

Nothing new, still no name which I'm starting to obsess over!

Hope you all have good weekends original.gif

Hi everyone. I'm leaking tiny tiny amounts too. Still have lots of nausea but I haven't vomited for three days so that's a happy record. I don't know about you guys but I feel SOOOOOOOOOOO full of baby right now and I can't imagine being able to fit anymore growth in there!

Hi everyone,

Well 26 weeks for me today and i feel like bub is trying to push its way out. My belly is so tight and am very uncomfortable tonight.

Yay Suze on three days of no vomiting lol lets hope you start to feel better now.

We have our names picked out. Lachlan for a boy and Jessica for a girl. We have had them picked since before we got pregnant this time so it was fairly easy for us.

I have now cleaned out the bassinet ready, just need to make it up closer to time, and have all DD's baby clothes ready to go through and pick out the gender nuetral 0000's and 000's to wash. All my wraps are clean still and in the cupboard but may bring them out and rinse them just to freshen them up. I have enough warm newborn things to start us off until we know what we are having. DD was a Nov bub so a lot of her things are cooler clothes.

My 26 week belly shot, sorry about the dirty mirror.

Just have to work out what car seat we are going to buy. We are moving DD to a new seat and using her one for the bub.

Hope everyone is well
Nicky
