ASD/Autism Support Group : Below school age, Recent diagnosis or suspected ASD welcome
That is for school age children? I just got a referral for my son to be assessed today and I was wondering if there was a group like the one above I could join. Thanks |

Hi TZ,
There is a school age group. I have just bumped it to the first page for you. You would be very welcome. Going through the assessment process can be harrowing. Glad to hear your GP has set you on the path to some answers. Hope you are feeling ok with it all. Please feel free to post any questions, or just get something off your chest, it has probably been a difficult day for you. Good luck with everything Mel |

I'm sick as a dog (please - no b-word come backs, sense of humour in toilet with remains of lunch), so will be a bit slow in posting, but am happy to answer any questions when better. Just didn't want you to think I was not acknowledging (yes, inflated sense of self-importance... goes along with high temp).
