I'm taking bronze!

All that Jazz - Tbh I feel terrible! I don't remember feeling this sick with Corben huh.gif Guess I'd rather be sick than have no symptoms at all though.

Bella - it is our 5 year wedding anniversary today. Gosh how time flies

Gah, I just read the last bit of the previous thread but can't remember what anyone else had to say lol.

As mentioned above I'm feeling pretty lousy. I feel sick pretty much all day and am finding if I wake up overnight then I have a lot of trouble getting back to sleep because I feel so sick. Going to get some fruit tingles and icypoles today and see if they help.

I am due back at work in a little over two weeks and I'm really not sure how I'm going to do it at this point in time. Although having said that, maybe working full time will be more of a rest than looking after a child full time lol!!

Ok, best go... .Corben has this annoying habit of putting a WHOLE SLICE of toast in his mouth and then gagging until he spews, so now he has to be watched very, very carefully!!

I hope everyone is well

So guessing I will tak the (.Y.) prize then.

Snicker: i hate it when they take too big a bites and gag...sends you into a frenzy. sounds like MS is starting to play havoc with you. I am so happy for your PG but dont envy the MS.

OMG you guys are up so early going by the time of your posts. Amber and I were still counting sheep til about 8.15am this morning. Had a better night with her. She woke once at 4ish...tried to just pat her laying on the fold out bed next to her cot, she did go back to sleep in the most awkwardist position touching my hair. When i tried to reposition her so her arm wouldnt be dead hanging out the cot she woke but she went back to sleep with a 10min cuddle from mummy. I know now that she can put herself back to sleep with a little help so it is a first step forward.

anyway we are going swimming in just over half and still sitting here in my pjs so better get my butt moving.

Hi!

ALM I think I must be THE most laid back mum in the world coz if one of my kids ate that sticker it wouldnt even have occurred to me to be concerned lol. Im glad it was all fine though and glad she slept a bit better!

Snicker Poo to morning sickness and I hope you feel better really soon!

ATJ How was shopping with Evie? Did you buy anything?

AFU we we had a crappy night but I think Micah's second canine tooth is coming through (that will make 10 teeth) BUT for both his sleeps today and when he woke during the night and after 1.5 hours awake I gave him panadol he went to sleep all by himself without me in the room!!! ddance.gif I am very very excited. I just stand outside his room and when he starts to try to get up I go back in and say " Sleep time Micah" in a stern voice and he laughs at me and lies back down. I love that they can understand things a bit!
Although he is so cheeky. In the bath he tries to stand up and I say "No, Micah sit down" again in my cranky voice and then he sits and I very happily say "Good boy!!" then he does it all over again because he loves getting the praise and thinks its a great game aannoyed.gif so he stands up then sits when told and looks at me expectantly with a big smile on his face. So I havent made the same mistake with the sleep thing. Once he lies down I just leave the room wink.gif
Anyway I am feeling very positive and thank you all for your support and listening ears!!

I thought I better do the decent thing and come back and do a 'proper' post after stealing first place.

ALM - I wasn't up that early, we just happen to be 2 hours ahead of the East Coast of Australia, so yout 8.15am is my 10.15am and I am long up by then!

Snicker - Congratulations on 5 years. I hope you have a lovely Anniversary. Oh, and Thomas is the same when eating, it has to go in all at once or not at all!

Stained - Poor Micah. I hope he has a better night tonight and the tooth doesn't give him too much more trouble.

ME - Sorry for stealing your gold. I didn't know anyone else was logged in! blush.gif

Birthdays - what is everyone getting their babies for their birthdays. We are struggling with it being so close to Christmas still. DH made a point (and it right) that Thomas got a bulk of new inside type interactive toys for Christmas so he doesn't need more. So we are getting him a couple of ride ons. One we already had for Christmas but kept away. One like this. And today DH rang me and said he had come across a tractor and trailer ride on that was reduced from $99 to $49. So I said to get that too. It's this one. It looks bigger in the picture than it is. But he will have something to play on outside. And the only other thing we are getting him is a bag of Mega Bloks so he can put them in his trailer! Apart from that we had no idea what to get him.

Nappies - What size is everyone using now? I have just had to put Thomas into Toddler from Crawler as I was finding the Crawler were cutting into his chubby thighs!

Sorry, that is all I can see from this thread. Hope everyone else is well. It was really nice to hear from the missing members in the last thread and to hear how everyone is. Keep it up!

Take care.
Lisa

L!sa - We are using toddler nappies and have been for quite some time. They seem to fit him fine and I'd hope they'd continue to fit him for some time to come. As for birthday presents, well we have just gotten Corben one of these and that's it. They retail for $95 + P&H and we got ours off ebay for $17.15!! We have a pretty strict 'limited toys' policy in our house, so try not to buy him too much.. plus, we're saving for a new house so the $$'s are better put into our bank account.

Stained - Yay for improved sleeping! I hope it continues to improve for you. What a little monkey doing naughty things to get praised lol.

ALM - I don't think a lot of us are up that early by choice wink.gif Although I am a morning person, so I don't mind getting up.

Well I slept from 10.30am til 1pm today and then again from 2.30pm til 4.30pm... it was bliss! I wish I could do it every day!

We are still having issues with CC. Corben simply refuses to drink his bottle or sleep for them *sigh* I was kind of hoping it would be getting better by now.

I am so looking forward to a child free night on Saturday, although I am worried he might play up for mum a bit...although she is pretty tough having had 6 kids of her own! I'm really looking forward to this place we're going for lunch called Stalactites - an authentic greek restaurant...oooh and I'm looking forward to afternoon tea at the Lindt Cafe too lol. You can see I'm going to come home ten kilo's heavier!

I hope you are all doing well
xoxo

Morning

ALM, I am always up that early.. Elias woke at 5.45am this morning, but it can vary anywhere from 5.30-7am. I cant complain most nights he sleeps through.

L!sa, we are using Crawler still, but Elias is a heavy wetter at night so i use Toddler at night for the better absorbancy. I actually bought 6 boxes of crawler nappies a while back as my foodland had the huggies really cheap $26 a box, so i stocked up. I still have about 2 boxes left, when they are finished i may move up to crawler... we will see. Elias is only 7.8kgs.
Birthday is a hard one. but i founs this on AMAZON http://www.amazon.com/Wheels-Disney-Lil-20...6496&sr=8-1
not sure if you can buy it in australia... so with postage it works out to be $150 but its soooo cute... then i dont need to buy him anything else! its aged from 12 months - 36 months. still contemplating it though.

Stained... wow Micah has 10 teeth biggrin.gif awesome. still only 4 here. Great to hear sleeping is better and your feeling more positive.

Hope everyone else is well... we are doing good. I have DS1's bday in 9 days, then Elias' 3.5 weeks later. so much fun, i love my kids bdays i get sooo excited.

weighed Elias today he is 7.8kgs.. getting there slowly. My other 2 were 10kgs at 12 months, at this rate i think elias will be about 8.5kgs at 12 months.

Had an absolutely shocking time with Amber between 8pm and 1030pm...just wouldnt settle herself. Would only sleep cuddled into me and woke screaming everytime I put her down in the cot that at one stage she cried so hard it took 1/2hr to console her through the big sobs. I checked her mouth and did feel tooth 8 had finally just and I mean just cut the surface so maybe part of the prob so gave her panadol at 9. I think she was VERY overtired as hadnt slept since 3pm! I thought she was dropping that arvo sleep soo didnt try to put her down as have had probs getting her down then too but I think she still needs a short nap at least at about 3-4pm. She has slept through and still sleeping which she obviously needed from her performance last night but will have to wake her soon as have to go work.

Snicker I am anxious that when she starts CC too about at least her not sleeping at least once.

Oops must go she has finally stirred.
