I know someone who has children with different fathers. She is a good mum, no different to any other mums I know, she works, she's not on benefits, she's not tarty, in a relationship or looking for one
She doesnt tell anyone xcept close friends and family that the children have different dads, if asked directly she'll lie and say no they all have the same father. i think she shouldnt have to, but she thinks because of stigma to her and her kids she does have to.

Sooooooo i thought Id ask what people thought. Are mothers with different fathers for their kids usually judged harshly, even if theyre good mothers? do you think that say, two different fathers is understandable, but three or more indicates some character flaw of the woman?

I had a friend who has 3 different kids to 3 different fathers under the age of 5. I find it deeply sad as the father of the most current child DESPERATELY wants to be apart of the childs life but was told 3 days after the birth that 'he' was born. The mother told the bio-dad that she wants him to have nothing to do with the child, and that she will not be having his name on the little boys birth certificate. So now this poor dad who WANTS to be actively involved in the kids life cannot without a court order to have DNA extracted or whatver the term is, and PROVE he is the father (there of course is the chance he may not be, but unlikely). She does not want child support or anything from him either.... Mothers like THAT make me p1ssed off as they are not giving the child a choice in the matter...GRRRR


As for the other 2, one has a 'from a distant' relationship with her father (he is too busy living his single party boy life)....

The middle child is a gorgeous product of a one night stand from when she went interstate to go "Sperm raiding..."

All children have the same last name but are OBVIOUSLY not from the same bio-dad since they are mixed race (one is very, very exotic looking olive skin, green eyes, jet black hair (maybe greek??), the little boy is Caucasian...while the other is Asian...). Nothing wrong with mixed race kids (before anyone starts implying it) but she does get looks and strangers commenting...

Her parenting I can't comment on as I can't see what happens behind closed doors.


I remember working in the Medicare office when I was younger and seeing a lady with hyphenated surnames to her different children who had different bio-dads....
