Well I laughed a whole lot reading it. I definately related to it. There is no compromise in our house!! I do it. End of story. biggrin.gif I'm still smiling. Of course I'm tired - I refuse to get into the whole 'term used' debate here. We get it. There's a difference between being tired and having the illness. Poor you. Poor me, I have CML , poor everyone. We only know what it's like to be us. We surely shouldn't expect anything else from ourselves. We would all be depressed and suicidal (which I've been before) if we tried to be sympathetic and empathetic to every illness in the world.

Now that I'm pregnant and get up to wee a thousand times a night - YES I'M EXAGERATING I'M VERY SORRY TO THOSE WHO HAVE BLADDER PROBLEMS - I make DH get up to get my drinks during the night because I'm still thirsty all the time!! biggrin.gif That way we are equal - sort of. happy.gif

We compromised when DD was very little. He got up to get her from her room and I fed her (breastfeeding) and then he put her back to bed. It lasted for the week he had off work. I took over completely after that.

Sorry if I offended anyone.

QUOTE (EBeditor @ 18/10/2010, 11:32 AM) *
Title has been changed, that was my title not Josephs, although from his article. I did read it as chronic tiredness rather than CFS but if people are uncomfortable with it I'm fine to see it altered.
As someone who suffered from CFS for 3 years, and now the parent of a toddler, I am very glad this title has been changed. THe difference between CFS and having a toddler is that you can have a break from a toddler, you can never have a break from CFS. It is a devastating and debilitating illness.
