I love all my modern conveniences ninja.gif
Washing machine (no more standing at the river beating clothes against a rock wink.gif )
Tumble dryer (used sparingly, but there when I need it)
Microwave (hot food in 30 seconds biggrin.gif )
Ducted vaccuum kicker in my kitchen bench to make sweepings disappear in an instant cool.gif
My big comfortable car with climate control, cd player, easy access for the kids, and seats so comfy I don't mind spending half my life driving the kids around.
Ducted heating (we are never cold, even here in the Dandenongs in mid-winter, warmth at the touch of a button)
Evaporative cooling (gets mighty hot here in bushfire season too)
My freezer (I have half a cow in there at the moment, it feels like we will never run out of food)

Seriously, I often think about how easy we have it in terms of modern conveniences to help keep us warm and comfy and to make life a little easier. And I think about exactly how lucky I am to have all these conveniences. And I try not to take them for granted. But I do love them hheart.gif

ETA Dishwasher! How could I forget the dishwasher, the master of all conveniences!

You don't have a duckface, you just look like you do!
iPhone. I can check the train timetable, all my social media networks, the news, weather, latest real estate listings, blogs, find directions using Maps (which is a major plus as I have a notoriously bad sense of direction), do my online banking on it, and a whole bunch of other things that make life that little bit easier.

The little button on the key that locks and unlocks the car door.

Being able to program the washing machine to start at a certain time.

My single pram with a double toddler seat on top for 2 toddlers plus the fact that my car (van really) has a boot big enough to hold the single pram without having to fold it down first.

And anything with a remote control - makes me feel like God.
