Scruff- congrats on having another babyboy.gif and glad all is well. Must of been hard at the interview but im glad the midwife was very understanding. Im in the same boat as you as if this lil one was a boy we had a name picked out from when i was preg with the twins, but seeing its another girl DP and i are trying to find the right name that we both love, we have a couple of names so far but havnt said yes thats the name we're using yet. We are using Chloe and Hayley as a middle name too as thats what i wanted and DP agreed as DP wasnt a huge fan of 2 middle names but we couldnt just use one jic we dont have another girl and i would feel guilty if i only used one and not the other.

Hi to everyone else.

xx

Scruff- Congrats on a baby babyboy.gif.
C_H- I love that you're using the girls names for middle names. I have both my grandmothers names for middle names and my mother hyphernated them so I couldn't just drop one. And Chloe-Hayley is so much nicer than Elsie-Violet. wink.gif
Hi everyone else. I had my Ob visit today and was able to hear the heartbeat on the doppler finally so quite pleased. Start having scans next week to monitor the cord blood flow.

congrats on your beautiful baby girl lys!!

hi ladies original.gif
have been slack in catching up with eb lately, but so very happy for you all original.gif

aimee- happy birthday to your beautiful angel zack. hopeing that the situation between you and DH sorts itself out, men can be so insensitive when it comes to loss. they dont want to seem like less of a man, well i know thats how my dh is, lol he is a bit of a sh*t sometimes. but heres hoping he wakes upto himself hheart.gif

chloea_hayley- thats such a perfect idea. if we were having a boy we would have used Kye as the middle name, and we were sort of thinking Kye for the middle name for Summer but jayde worked out better original.gif i will save kye for when we have a boy.

roni- LOVE your new pregnancy photo, you look fantastic! and i also cannot believe that your 20 weeks! i just cannot believe it lol

a BIG hiii to everyone else!

afm- summer is nearly 3 months old?!?! where does the time go!? i love being a mum. alot of people ask me why i wanted another baby after losing kye, they think i should have waited till i was older, they think i wasted my life by having a bub so young but to be honest, ive never been happier and i can honestly say now im not wasting my life, im teaching my daughter about all the wonderful things in life, and ive never felt more alive. her smile makes everything i went through to get here worth it.

i hope all of your dreams get to come true in the coming months hheart.gif

lots and lots of love, elly & Summer

Elly- Love the signature wub.gif Summer is just gorgeous, so glad she has made you so happy.

Roni- Glad you got to hear bubs heartbeat, its so reassuring isn't it. I'm glad you seem to be getting looked after well. Re. lunch I'm good to go as soon as I can kick this cold/flu thing, would hate to pass on my germs aannoyed.gif

Chloe_Hayley- Chloe and Hayley as middle names sound lovely, they flow so well together. I really hope you enjoy your little getaway before your baby girl makes her arrival.

Scruff- I'm sorry you had to go through that emotional pain during the booking bbighug.gif I think I will probably lose it too this arvo when I have my nt scan as the hospital as the last time i was there was when we got the bad news about Ethan. I'm glad your scan went well and lol @ the cheeky little thing flipping your the bird ... you didn't get that on a photo did you? would make an awesome pic for his 21st hehe. Glad you got an appointment sooner rather than later, its funny how the midwives have much more 'power' than our doctors. Oh almost forgot huge congrats on another babyboy.gif wub.gif

Congrats Lys on the arrival of Sophie original.gif

Angelblake- Love that you are feeling bubs move a lot, can't wait till I get to that stage. Hows the infected wisdom tooth going? I can certainly sympathise with you on that one and what a bugger of a time for it to happen. Mine was so painful when it got infected and I was taking panadeine forte. Hope it settles down soon if it hasn't already.

Aimee- Sorry its so late, I haven't been in the right mindset to be posting lately but would like to wish a bleated Happy Heavenly 1st Birthday to Zachary. The 29th was a difficult day for me too being Ethan's edd and dd birthday too. I thought of your and your little angel too and hope they had a fun day up there. Sorry your husband was being so insensitive, but if it makes you feel any better its probably just a stupid male thing, mine was a real insensitive jackass that day too glare.gif

Hiya everyone else waves.gif Hope everyone is well.

AFM- NT scan and cervix scan this afternoon. Very anxious indeed I really need these scans to ease my mind I have been terribly worried lately I am expecting the worst, had a little scare a couple of days ago thinking my water broke and last week has been a nightmare- literally having so many bad dreams lately wish they would just stop. Though last nights one was really weird, dreamt I had the baby but it hatched out of an egg and we were spoon feeding it like a bird and it grew up really quickly and had super powers woke up thinking wtf???? wacko.gif lol

I was talking to dh last night about when to start telling people and well I thought we were in agreeance that we would wait as long as we could but apparently that was all my idea not his he is just going along with whatever I want and he is happy to tell people now. So assuming all goes well today we will tell our kids after the scan.

Chloe_Hayley: We used two middle names for both our boys. And will probably give this bub two too! So there is nothing wrong with it all. I agree u cant use one of the girls names and not the other... well u can but it would be hard unless u were thinking of having more and hopefully another one is a girl and u could use the name then..

Julz: Got to love the dream. Hope the NT scan is well.

Only skim reading as have worked today and not long in and pooped. Hope all is well.

AFM: Babies movements are really big lately. Im getting lots of contractions lately. Im assuming they are braxton hicks. Tightenings acroos the belly just above middle of my belly usually. I dont remember having them this early with the first two.. so its really weird for me.. but maybe because this is no. 3 its different.. just hoping everything is all right and she doesnt plan on making an appearance that is too early.

Hi Ladies original.gif Thanks everyone for thinking of me bbighug.gif

Had my NT scan yesterday, the build up to it was so much worse than the actual scan. Silly me had a look back at Ethan's 12 week scans looking at the pics to see what I could expect bubba to look like. Ultrasound was done in same room as where Ethan's last scan was, then the sonographer started asking the questions... how many kids have you had?... Started to get really choked up but somehow managed to hold back the tears. Then the scan, it was wonderful, we got a really good look at bubs clearer than any of my other kids scans.

I was trying not to get too attached to this one but theres no hope now, I'm totally in love with this little one now wub.gif first moment of real happiness I have had since losing Ethan. Everything looked well at the scan, the sonographer was having a real hard time getting measurements because bub was so active, it was so cute. Only thing I was concerned about was the nt measurement of 2.68 but I did a bit of research and found a risk calculator and turns out this is still low risk because bub was measuring a bit bigger than expected for its gestation so with the combined crl and nt it should all be good, just waiting on bloods to confirm. Cervix scan went well too it was long and closed so thats a relief.

We also told our kids after the scan. They were both very happy though dd called me a big fat liar lol she had asked me a couple of times if I was pregnant earlier because she saw my prenatal vitamins and an ultrasound referal, I told her a few white lies blush.gif But later last night I got 101 questions from ds1 and that was really really hard, he was asking What happened to Ethan? Where is he? How did he get wings? What colour are they? Where is heaven?... "I hate heaven I just want him to come back here" he said, Will this baby die too? and on and on and on all night I ended up just crying my heart out and falling asleep in his bed next to him.

Dh said "now the kids know we can set up the spare room" I didn't want to do this. I had plans of doing nothing until we brought baby home, all I wanted to do was set the cradle up in our room, wash a few jump suits, buy a pack of nappies and send dh out to buy a car seat after bubs was born. But last night I found myself having trouble falling asleep because I had all these ideas of how I want the nursery running though my head ddoh.gif I guess seeing this little one actually looking like a baby- yawning, sucking its thumb and rolling around has made it all so much more real now.

Sorry about the huge 'me' post... guess I just needed to get a few things out and you ladies are the only ones that understand.

3cubs- Hope all is well, I'm sure it is. Its pretty hard not to overanalyse every little thing in our pregnancies though. Probably is just different due to body being different after a few pregnancies. My body has been having different reactions to this pregnancy and its freaked me out a little but I try to remember it is no. 4 and I have had back to back pregnancies and thats probably why. I really hope your little one sticks around until you are both ready for her arrival original.gif

Julz - glad everything went well with teh scan, I also had q lot of questions from DD about whether our baby was going to die and thankfully I was honest and said there was a small chance but it was the last we wanted to happen, unfortunately it did.

Thanks to everyone for thinking of me, I am having pretty rough time thinking of I should to having at the moment but hopefully after Lilys due date and Rubys birthday thinks will settle down, just need to get through them.

Chloe_Hayley - Two middle names is lovely all of our kids have two middle names which are family names.

Mandy

Julz: I think the first scan is really magical after a loss. Its probably the best out of all of them.. even though they are all great. Glad it went well for u.

Mandy: tks for popping in. Did u ever get any answers about why u have had 2 still births.. or is it just one of those unknowns?
