My thought after reading the above article is Duh?

Who takes a nine year old child to see Lady Gaga and then acts surprise that the content was mature?

"I'm OK with her listening to them. There's no swearing in them and she's too young to understand the hidden meaning,"...is she serious.

You only have to watch one of her videos to realise that her music isn't appropriate for children. She's adult pop.

Lady you're an idiot!!

ha ha ha everybody want their five minutes.

I loved the pic of Ga Ga arriving in Sydney airport with her hair rolled around cans? How did she get through the detector? I lose my metal emery board and she keeps the cans?

I think the Mother needs to do some investigating of what she is going to BEFORE buying tickets.

Every breastfeed is a success story
9 is a bit young.
DD is a fan, in that she likes two of the songs she's heard on my iPod wink.gif , but I wouldn't take her to see her live at 9 although that'd be because I think she'd be too short to see anything and it would be too late a night.
The mother may not be an avid watcher of MTV and genuinely had no idea?

Personally i don't see the point in taking a 9yo to a concert full stop.

But surely the government should be advising us on EVERYTHING? I mean, you wouldn't want us to have to think for ourselves or exercise any form of parental discretion would you? ohmy.gif

Seriously, the woman's an idiot. You only need take one look at Lady Gaga to assume that she probably has adult content in her show. From there it's a short trip to Google to look up a few reviews or forum discussions to find the facts.

My cousin's partner is taking her two boys (both under ten) and toddler along to see Gaga in Canberra.

I would be appalled, but I find the idea too hilarious to bother. Especially after watching her Telephone clip. I hope she makes d*ck jokes on stage and that my cousin's partner spends the next year wondering how to explain what a hermaphrodite is to her kids.
