I have had both and I love them both but have a slight preference for Napoleon. But they do tend to get booked out weeks in advance for weekends so I would ring and book now if you havent done so already.

MAC by far. I've heard Napoleon are the same as some cheaper brands (same factory/ingredients/application etc). I was somewhat of a make up whore in the past trying out many up market brands. I have a massive makeup stash and don't buy make up much now (as I have too much). MAC is the exception. For me it's perfect. Nars is a close second but lacks the range and is much more expensive and not worth the extra price over MAC.

Another Mac fan here - their makeup is fantastic imo! As for the application I suppose it really depends on who does it - a fantastic makeup artist can do an amazing job regardless of the brand so if you can get a referral for either a good MAC or Napolean makeup artist that would be your best bet for this occasion.

MAC all the way here. I'm on photo shoots a lot and the makeup artists always have tonnes of MAC. I've never actually come across any with Napoleon now come to think of it.
But I don't imagine you'll get in for an application on the weekend - I know in Sydney they are booked out weeks in advance for a Sat/Sun. |
