I am going to do a Dora themed bedroom for my daughter who has just turned 2 a couple of months ago. I've already bought a lamp, rug, Quilt cover and a few wall hangings. I also want to put up a wall border but before I take the old border down and buy a new one I wanted to get opinions about what age group Dora is suitable for? Will it last her til she is say 7 or will it only be suitable til she's 4 or 5??? How old are your daughters and do they still like Dora?

Well my girls and 6 and 7 and they are over Dora, so I would think about 5.

My DS who is 2 LOVES her though!

Annika is 3, and she's right into everything Dora at the moment. .

I'm expecting it to stop by the time she's 5 or 6.

Just hopefully not replaced by Bratz.

My 2yr old discovered her a few months back and loves her. Don't know how long she will, it's hard to keep up with all these new characters now.

My DD is 5 1/2, and pretty much over Dora - although she will still watch it occasionally with her younger brother. So I would say 5.

She would love to replace the obsession with Bratz, but not in this house! rolleyes.gif

DS and his best friend (girl) are both completely and totally over Dora. They have just turned 4.

We are having #3! Due 12 September.
My DD is 4.8 years and loves Dora but I would expect she will be over it when she is 5.

Cobwebs are the new black!
My sons will still watch Dora (at nearly 4 and nearly 6) but they don't love it like they used to.

Pentaxian!
DD will be turning 3 soon and for the last year has loved Dora but I must admit her interest in it is waning somewhat and if she gets to choose a DVD to watch it is now something like Charlie and Lola or Angelina Balerina so I am now glad I got a generic quilt cover rather than a character one. Oh and she is now getting into everything "barbie" as well and we don't even own any yet!!!! ddoh.gif

My 3.9 year old DD is over Dora, and really into Barbie now. DD2 who is 2.4 still loves Dora though. I would say she'll be over it between 4-5 years old.
