I am going to do a Dora themed bedroom for my daughter who has just turned 2 a couple of months ago. I've already bought a lamp, rug, Quilt cover and a few wall hangings. I also want to put up a wall border but before I take the old border down and buy a new one I wanted to get opinions about what age group Dora is suitable for? Will it last her til she is say 7 or will it only be suitable til she's 4 or 5??? How old are your daughters and do they still like Dora?
DD will be turning 3 soon and for the last year has loved Dora but I must admit her interest in it is waning somewhat and if she gets to choose a DVD to watch it is now something like Charlie and Lola or Angelina Balerina so I am now glad I got a generic quilt cover rather than a character one. Oh and she is now getting into everything "barbie" as well and we don't even own any yet!!!!
My 3.9 year old DD is over Dora, and really into Barbie now. DD2 who is 2.4 still loves Dora though. I would say she'll be over it between 4-5 years old.
