Happy Birthday to all DINs!

Madelyn had a great birthday, lots of friends and a great party Skating. So much easier than when they were little!!

Thanks Kristy, Eliza did have her tonsils out too in the end so all over. She is already making improvements with her speech (correcting/repeating herself trying to understand why she isn't pronouncing the words properly!) and for the first time ever she said "Grandma" (has always been 'mama') today so will try that on my Mum tonight but it was really tear jerking for me...you don't notice the differences until they hit you like that. No more nasal sound to her voice, and hopefully the end of all these respiratory issues!

I hope everyone is well and getting prepared for Christmas...i'm not even close to ready lol

She Who Dies With the Most Shoes, Wins!
Merry Christmas everyone!

CJ - how are you darling? I read in the Venting Thread about your Christmas debacle with your ex and your parents ohmy.gif and I just wanted to offer some support and love. I didn't know you had split up, and under such awful circumstances. sad.gif I hope 2010 is the start of a wonderful new life for you and your kids. bbighug.gif

biggrin.gif It's ME. I'm another one with Dutchy - hope you haven't forgotten me. Haven't even changed my photo - am really so incredibly slack.

Good to read some of the updates - its seems like forever since I checked in.

We're fine. Nick had a great year last year - soccer star, maths star, gorgeous boy. Amy keeps us on our toes and is so much harder than Nicky ever was but so sweet at times that all is forgiven. They love each other to bits but fight soooooo much. Its very frustrating. Went back to work last week after a couple of weeks break and its very hard to be there (doesn't help that I've got a horrible boss).

Lost about 15-16 kgs over 2009 and still have a few to go. Not as strict at the moment - Christmas drinks and trifle were too enticing.

We built on last year and the extra room is fantastic.

Can you believe our DINov02 babies are going into 2nd class this year. Amazing.

I promise to check in more often.

Jodie

Another one slinking back in! Hello everyone - hope you are going great!

Amanda - Congrats on the news... how wonderful!

Nice to see everyone else... it seems so much has been happening in all your lives!

We have been busy too... we also have some news... we are expecting #5! It was all a bit unexpected (two methods of contraception failed!) but once we got used to the idea, all has been going well. I got a cervical stitch put in early and this pregnancy has been a dream. I figure maybe this was my chance to finally have a "normal" pregnancy after so many going wrong! I am due in May, but my stitch will come out toward the end of next month, so we will see what happens! We don't know what we are having, we never found out with the others and wont break with tradition now! original.gif

All the other kids are going great. Can't believe Keeley is in grade 2 - how on earth did THAT happen! Josh is loving kindy and Riley is just go go go! Bit scared to think I will have two under two in 6-8 weeks time!

Anyway, life is going ok despite quite a few ups and downs over the past 6 months. Hope you are all going great and I will try to pop in every now and then!

Still here...
Hi everyone!!!

Long time no pop-in LOL

Contrat's to AJ and Mandy, hope all is going well.

We are all good here, kids growing up way too fast.

Brayden is in Grade 2 along with the rest of our '02 bubs but was assessed at week 1 at Grade 3 level, so very proud of him. He is still a boisterous little guy who is full on, loves his Footy.

A few weeks back the kids met Nic Naitanui and Brayden was totally stoked!! (Nic graduated from the school i work at, so i knew him).

Jordyn is going well in Grade 4 - she is 10 in 4 months time and still a very quiet girl.

I will try to pop in more regularly than I do - I tend to just go on Facebook these days and forget DIN.

Take care all.
