Just wondering about them atm.

We are tossing up between the springfree and the regular run of the mill Big W job.

For those who have a springfree:

Do you think you have/will get your moneys worth out of it?

Are they as safe as what they proclaim?

Are they easy to install yourself?

Yes, yes and yes to all !

Very happy and very safe ... yes put it up ourselves and probably took an hour or so. I think you can pay extra and have them install it for you.

My DD broke her arm and had to have surgery from falling off one of the normal type tramps. No accidents since we have had the springfree !

Yes Yes and Yes again!!

We won ours and honestly before we had it I would not have spent the money on one when there are the other enclosed style BUT now we have one, there is no way I would consider any other trampoline, if for some reason we needed another, I would not hesitate to purchase a springfree again.
FANTASTIC and a great place to put crawling bubs while you hang out the laundry LOL

Ours is over 2 years old now and still looks as good as new, still gets jumped on daily and shows no signs of wear and tear.

Can not recommend highly enough.

DO IT you will not regret it one bit.


Oh and they look a hell of a lot nicer too

Another yes, yes and yes to all your questions.

Without a doubt one of our best purchases. Have also had one of the neighbours become a recent convert to the Springfree when they had to replace, after just a year and a half, their netting on the one they purchased from a department store. It just didn't cope with, not only the wear and tear from the children using it, but also the wear and tear from the environment as far as wind and rain goes.

If you can afford a Springfree then go for it.

I the girls LOVE their trampoline. We have had it for over 3 years and is still going strong, though we are having issues with the outer cover of the rods flaking off, I think it's got to do with the direct sun it is in in summer. But I do have to enquire about that. might do it now thanks for reminding me.

We were lucky to buy one from friends who were moving and didn't have the room in their new yard to fit it. We got it for a fantastic price, it was only 2yrs old and DS and DD love it. It has weathered really well, and was 2yrs old when we bought it last Xmas. Previous owners contacted the SF people and they sent replacement rods due the weathering of same, no charge. Great service and I'd have convinced DH to buy one regardless of price if we'd not been so fortunate.

We adore ours. DH helped friends build theirs before chirstmas - the smaller round one - and found it very easy to assemble. We bought the larger round one and it was much harder to assemble, not technically but physically as it requires much more strength/force to get the supports in, there is more of it to do, etc. He reckons he could do a small one alone pretty easily but that he could not have done the larger one with out my cousins help.

Yes DS's are 8,5 & 2 and all enjoy it so I hope to get many, many more years out of it. They use it every day

Are they as safe as what they proclaim?
Yes - I have no hesitation to put DS3 on it and he's 2. He can't really jump yet but loves to run up and down the mat (we have the large oval one) or just lie in it looking at the sky

Are they easy to install yourself?
DH is fairly handy and installed in 1.5 hours with the 5yr olds help

The netting is fairly tough - our cat scaled it the other day (up and over) and didn't rip it (3 boys don't ask why the cat was on there )
